There is a shop called AUTOFOAM @ KL AUTO

They are quite famous and already opened like 12 years or so

Always fully booked

Anyone did foam yet ? want to know the changes, the dashboard vibration decreases too ?

yes anything

include reduce vibration as well.

My friend did it on his 4x4 car since that kind of car are well known with loud noise and vibration. He said improve a lot , he barely hear or feel the vibrate inside the car. Wind noise is decreased as well

So i was wondering whether any suprima s / preve users did this and have any changes/improvement

Isn't yours covered by 3 yrs free service?

Since you are doing your 1st K service, then you just bought your cars in the past few weeks and thus entitled to the free 3 yrs service. No?

Cheerio.

3 years free service is not totally free.
Proton will give you a series of voucher that enough you to use for 3 years
for the 1st service voucher worth RM95, if I'm not wrong it's enough for lowest grade engine oil only.

I found lot of DIY sound proofing items in Lelong.
Not sure got function or not, but it's much cheaper I think.

I see. Thanks. Did not know that they use voucher system. Thought it was by ticking off the standard service number list.

My Fc. I just pump rm80 she'll into my car right after I received my car. And just drop to 2 bars just now. Check sid it show still got 176km to go. For me this turbo Fc is good. Why people say not good. It really depends on driver.

Currently driving highway and penang bridge. But most of time heavy jam for these 3 days. Between I do driving city only.

Wait coming Aug I will full driving highway to work only. Without any jam. Possible 2 to 3 traffic light stop only. I believe my preve turbo can achieve below 8/100km.

My SC says syn 800 service every 5k KM
and for my preve, 5k KM the car performance already low, engine choking up, and can observe the oil very thick and dirty.

anyway, save money or save the engine, its your call.

Thx. I think I better get it change after 5k since most of the sifu here just give a same advice ... One more thing did anyone of you notice when u place you gear at P or N the rpm is even clock higher compared to D mode while car not moving. That mean I will b save bit fuel at mode D at traffic lights. Am I right? Thx again

yes, sure higher RPM for N
and peoples also recommend stick to D if you waiting for short time such as at traffic light, as frequent change from N or P to D wear out the gear box.

You will get bad FC in stop go traffic, the kind you usually encounter in KL and Penang Island. That is mostly due to the weight of the car. Can't do much about it other than to use light cars such as Viva, MyVI etc.

Just came back after booking my Preve Premium. Hope that I can still get the free 3 yrs service promotion.

Spoke to the head of car service there. His bro in law is using a Preve. When asked about the helicopter noise from Preve, he has not come across any yet though he has serviced many Preve here. Maybe Preve cars in Sarawak are better/lucky or we drive at a lower speed than in W M'sia. Ha.

Finally, closing and starting a new car chapter for me.

Cheerio.
