floor it.. 200km/h is very much capable in Preve CFE.. bt i didnt brake too much as in pedal to the metal, but was hard enough to activate the double signal..
*
Newie here. What is meant by double signal? Double signal on the dashboard? Or double brake light at the back?

Thanks.

P/S The proton manager here told me about the soft and hard brakes technology they use on proton. Can't remember which is the one they use for Preve. On braking, fine dust will result on the disc.

On using the car in the morning, you will hear some noise from the brake due to this dust.

Is this the cause of the helicopter sound?

someone said it cause by the disc rotor problem  hmm.gif

Yup the disk on the front brake surface not even.
Waiting 2 hours for the mechanic and his supervisor to check and measure every inch of the disk, record results on few sheets of paper before they put in new disk on both side. doh.gif

What is meant by double signal? Hazard lights come on automatically when you do hard braking. wink.gif

Press pedal lightly also can easily up to 100km/h with notice untill look on meter there. I like turbo. Of course there got engine accelerate sound. But which car don't have dude. So far happy. Mine got slightly helicopter sounds. Inform sa and he help me inform sc to book the disc brake rotor.
Yea. Post on my fb and people ask me. What car do have turbo. So rich ah. Wtf. Lol. Nowadays people really do know Toyota Honda and Nissan only. Happy with my car.

Once you get used to the car, driving another car (non comparable cars I mean) will make you wished that you were driving your CFE biggrin.gif

Can't agree more.
Drove my dad's Altis up Cameron highland 2 weeks back. He asked me which one better.... blush.gif
I say not bad about the same but deep inside... Altis is no match in terms of Drivability.... Preve is sheer fun driving especially the ride and handling.. handsdown!
I coulnd't put myself together to say car that cost 2x more is not as good ... but reliability wise - Toyota is of course miles ahead....

if all time available then may meet up d.. Initially i plan to buy soft lilac.. after that consider quite long time, choose white in the end.. Soft lilac so far i only saw once on the road of penang bridge.. Mostly i saw white, silver and red..

it depends on what engine oil being used during 1k service
for my preve, the syn 800 oil already very dark and thick when it comes to 5k KM, obviously it needs to be changed

Anybody here has RaceChip on their car? Thinking of getting one as they're having a RM400 rebate for raya. Read mixed reviews on prevec forum.

I am using syn 1000, should i change it when 5k KM come?? Some say new engine should change engine oil more frequent to prolong the engine lifespan.

I did that for first 10,000km

First Service 1,000km
Second Service 5,000km (Semi-Synt)
Third Service 10,000km (Semi-Synt)

Reason the engine is still new, frequent change will be better to remove the metal particles....

After that
Can start changing to Fully Synt and can go for 10,000km OCI.

Semi-Synt can go for 10,000km OCI for normal use as per Proton but I wouldn't want ... Perhaps 7,500KM is okay...
