C2D 1.86Ghz (Stepping : L626A422) @ 500*7 = 3.500Ghz @ 1.450v @ Intel Factory Original Heatsink
Gigabyte P965-DS3 @ F4 Bios
Corsair XMS2 TwinX REV7.1 DDR2 675Mhz 512MB*2 (1GB Dual Channel) @ 2.3v ~ DDR2 1000Mhz CL 4 - 5 - 4 - 14 Change RAM to REV7.1

Current Super PI 1M Pass : Hit! 16.469s

I will try to prime it later, because too urgent to test. I think I can let it prime stable at 3.4Ghz, Why I know? because my friend use it at 3.4Ghz to do converting video files one night non-stop & no problem. But I still wanna to test it, wait for my news. I know you work at BB.

haven't oc even once. headache. so much issues. lcd issue, changing hdd, backplate havent receive, psu issue. now ram issue dengan hang, haha... this is the worst upgrade ever.

guys, i just want to know have any of clockers have used MSI 975x Platinum Power Up Edition..... if so how far u guys have been with this mobo(with stock fan) ..? any tips..? i tried till 3.2 G but then it not stable..... it hangs... even OC to 2.5 make pc hang....

a noob question : do i need disable Intel SpeedStep to OC ?

Disabling EIST will give you stable speed but comes with the expense of higher comsumption of electricity.

My Conroe 6600.. Too bad I got a cheap ram sad.gif Keeping money to buy Xi-Fi Platinum then only buy the performance RAM. I'm using my old RAM from my old computer.

Try using 1.5XS or 1.4 mod. More accurate.

Core 2 Duo obviously outperforms AM2 in terms of performance per watt

edit: E6300 should be priced around RM 700 for now
