i change my CPU from P4 to C2D last nite, and OMG!!! i still can't do OC-ing in BIOS... not to say OC, i cant even enable the FSB thingy... Flashed bios even from F4c to F3 and reset cmos liaw and reset to optimum setting liaw... still cannot... cant adjust the PCI-e one frequency also... (read the previous posts saying that some can put 100 and some 106MHz, while mine cant at all). anymore suggestion that i can try out? also i had formatted my hdd also and my ETC still not working. each an every time i open it my pc will reboot... what is going on??

It should be your graphic card. Try using another one, maybe PCI... Remember to load optimized and clear the CMOS after a successful flash. New speed. By the way, I'm using Cooler Master Hyper 6+ .. no Intel factory heatsink. I've been told to use Super Pi 1.5 Mod so here goes: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by masamura: Aug 23 2006, 02:31 AM

I could go up to 380FSB... but I can't use 3DMark for more than 1 minute I would cap my PCI-E at 100MHz, but that's not worth it since the drop in frames per second is so significant. Currently I'm using 140MHz. Oh and Irene, how did you manage to get your V-Core to only 1.213v? Mine's already at 1.424 at 360X9 This post has been edited by masamura: Aug 23 2006, 01:17 AM

Mine's already at 1.424 at 360X9 mine is not 1.213v it's sthing wrong with cpuz, showing that vcore no matter what i set in bios.. in bios i set to 1.45vcore. btw, 3d application is sthing else, if u wanna find max stable clockspeed for 24/7 then u need to test both stresstest (for eg. dual prime) and 3d benchies (for eg. loops of 3dmark03) if both has no problem, then i believe u wont have any problem either in gaming or in heavy multitasking This post has been edited by irenic: Aug 23 2006, 07:27 PM
