These guys expect their rigs to be perfectionists

i'm not saying about how many seconds (delay when open up cpuz) but what i meant is the lagginess.. which means while waiting for the cpuz to fully open, the pc is somehow lag for 1-2secs. we can notice it if we open mp3 and the sound will get stuck or in my case i just simply move my mouse fastly and the mouse movement at the dekstop is stuck..

Well when loading yeah it takes a while and the graphics will suddenly stop like for 1 sec, but after that there shouldn't be lagginess. Coz siauann said his PC lagged when doing all those things and when CPUz was open. So obviously the question wasn't really clear. lol

as i mention earlier, rise lil bit tha vcore
around 1.36v, it the temp not getting hot, just apply

Yeah, me too had a problem a lagging when CPU-Z 1.37 is loading...with stock or OC also same. I do encounter some application had a longer loading time compare with my previous Athlon 64 3000+. Application like IE6 n MSN, dunno wheather u guys felt it or not...

anyway i'm not perfectionist , and i guess we're just discussing to find the reason bcoz it doesnt happen to everyone..

anyway being a perfectionist has lots pros than cons

Hmm maybe try updating the INF update utility?
Not sure though... How about lag on Winamp instead of foobar?

hi guys, new in C2D. A noob question. I am using E6400 with DS3 @ F7 bios. Why the cpuz show my bios still F4? In the REV column, what is C2 refer to? version 2? How to change the ram timing inside the bios? I had press ctrl+F1, but still nothing comes out. Thx in advance.

^have u flash ur BIOS to F7 version?
if yes, u need to restart it after being flash to make the mobo load the F7 Bios

@ the startup screen there, showing hdd and etc. there show 965P-xx-F7. I believe it should be F7 bios. Been restart a lot of time. now 420 x 8. But how to show the ram timing in f7 bios?

yesh yesh...my back up mobo which is also gigabyte also encounter this problem. after i flash to the latest bios, the CPU-z 1.37 still shows the older bios version but my POST there showing the bios tat i had oledi flashed. and with this problem, i cannot open my ET5. each and everytime i tried to open it there would be pop out saying bla bla bla error.

Oh, i see. Need to press control F1 in the bios's mainpage, not in MIT page.

I still can use the ET5, but this is a minor problem for me since I rarely use ET5.

My E64 @ 420 x 8, vcore 1.4. gMCH +0.2, vdimm +0.2, and vFSB +0.2.
stable for orthos 14hrs. But fail @ 430. Any ideal?

What is your temp for idle and full load? What kind of cooling method you use?
My temp will increase to 70 idle and full load 83 if i change vcore to 1.575.

now full load for my 430*8 was around 74. idle should be 60. vcore @ 1.45
Intel stock cooling.



gMCH default is 1.2, so +0.2 should be 1.4 lor.

my E6600 @ 3.2gig @ 1.3875v full load with Zalman 9500 led = 60-62C
@ 3.4gig @ 1.4500v full load with Zalman 9500 led = 68-70C

but is it default 1.2V for all mobos? sorry abit noob....heheheh

dun worry about 68-70c full load temp .. it's normal for most conroe!


yeah.. other board shows value, but gigabyte shows +0.1, +0.2, ....
