E6400? Is it because of the extra x8 multi? I think you'd better gone with the E6600 straight away if the extra 2MB is really kickin off

Hello 20 seconds smile.gif Found the stick alone in the rack thinking of giving it a fly.
Only 1 stick of Kingston valueram DDR533, Vdimm +0.5, Gmch +0.2v, Vcore normal. Not bad for a DDR533 though

If you check my screenshot, it was 1.175V stock. Let me check some documents on what's the correct default voltage.

CPU-Z fluctuated, try check it with Intel's software

omg? You guys are seriously pushing Conroe processor from 1.8 to 2.5????? I didn't know it can go that far! That's like 40% increase of speed?

Wow.. I can't wait to see what my E6600 can do this Sunday.. oh god. I'm getting an orgasm already.

By the way, did you guys noticed the Windows loading bar during startup? I felt mine was quite slow, about 6 - 7 times compared with Opteron which is just 0.5 bar last time....

well.... i will run oc speed 24/7 but not the max one la...find the max oc speed bench then lower down everything liaoz.... still oc but not the max lo... well 400x9 = 3600 but 400x10 = 4000 wo~~~ if can get that speed who dun want?  sweat.gif
i dunno still considering... >.<
from all the E6700 ES chip i see all of them are hitting like 350 FSB only whereby the E6600 most of them could do 400....this is wat worried me.... is that true that E6700 cant hit 400 fsb?
*
Bro, get the E6600 biggrin.gif No need to splash out extra money on the x10 multiplier wink.gif While the E6600 can get higher FSB, so both the Bus speed and memory can go higher...

1. can gip advices and xplaination?

den how about the fsb:dram? mine 4:5? did u guys tune it after/b4 u oc ur cpu? Or it happens to tune itself while u oc ur cpu?

for ur info:

intel c2d e6300 stepping 6 rev 2

kingston ddr2 667 1gb x 1
coolermaster xtreme power 430W
galaxy 7300gt ddr3 128mb

When it shut down, i guess that means your overclock isn't stable so it will revert back to the original state (266x7). Try playing with the FSB first, leaving the voltages at Normal and run Memtest #5 a couple of rounds before entering Windows, else you'll corrupt the Windows.... God speed
