actually both incorrect.

the seal is to close the gap with the body in the petrol access. refer to the pics

if you do nanomist and found there is smoke coming out from there, chances is you need the seal

is this the reason for the fuel smell in cabin? what do you use to seal it?

Take it to SC they will do it for you.
Mine also was having smell inside the cabin which started all of a sudden after 1 year and SC done the sealing.

Depends on what you want from your MPV. To me the only selling point for the Prime is just the captain seats, which looks pretty comfy for long journey trips.
But downside is that the prime is only a 6 seater (due to the captain seats).

I personally took the Premium over the prime because I find that the extra headrest monitors are useless and I prefer the practicality of having a 7 seater rather than a 6 seater. I also really didn't like the fake "wood" trim around the dashboard centre console. Moreover, to me the prime's extra features doesn't justify the extra RM10k.

But like I said, it all depends on what you want smile.gif

Totally agree... thumbup.gif
Moreover if you want to do the other fittings of prime other than the Captain seats, e.g. DVD player and Head rest monitors, you can get better ones outside based on your like and pocket. And for the DVD player, you can get the plug in types so there should not be any issues in Warranty also.....

I never hear oil catch tank can catch oil sludge.  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif
Oil catch tank is to trap blow-by gas from reentering intake manifold.
*
If u dismantle the air intake hose see the oil sludge around your turbo input. The breather also catch oil fumes which in long run you will see oil sludge build up in the tank.

No?

One flaw with the prime. The captain seat cannot be unfolded from the third row. Which is a safety flaw.

Do you think the 10k is worth it? Cause I plan to change the player to build in DVD n GPS type..the roof monitor also few hundred bucks only..

Guess the only accs can't be added outside should be only cruise n steering controls right..

I have the EB Premium, and so far I personally do think the extra RM8k between standard and premium is worth it.
The reverse camera is a joy to use, the leather seats are super comfy, cruise control has been very useful.

I'd say the most useless thing in the EB Premium (to me) is the ceiling DVD player unit laugh.gif

But of course, if you plan to get a standard EB and mod it to your liking, then I guess it's probably more worth it since I'm sure you'll be able to find the stuff you want at cheaper prices nod.gif

8k difference is worth it, front armrest is important for long journey, nicer interior and electric wing mirror sometimes can be usful too

If budget allows, just go for premium smile.gif

actually i'm keen also for standard but i really hope to add these accessories into it like

Fog Lamp, Reverse Camera, Door Visor..i know these can be added in manually. proton sales people say it costs around RM1.2k.

but i'm not sure if front armrest and reverse censor can be added also. forgotten to ask.

the auto-cruise is a very good advantage over standard, as AC will save fuel especially in long journey on the highway. the auto-cruise helps to maintain correct speed while climbing, and reduce fuel use to almost 0 while decending.

does standard model has rear aircond blower and vents?
