QUOTE(alexei @ Apr 1 2014, 05:16 PM) I think is fuel pump seal leaking. The fuel pump is situated underneath carpet, on the 2nd row IINM. You can confirm the fuel tank position from underneath the car. Get the service center to check and replace. thanks for the feedback. this cabin fuel is a common problem for EB, someone posted they put some seal on the fuel cap. not sure if it works |

QUOTE(alexei @ Apr 1 2014, 10:38 PM) Not the fuel cap, the fuel pump, situated under the 2nd row seat. did anyone has the cabin fuel issue and resolved by fixing the fuel pump?If someone can confirm the one in the pic is the fuel pump, that would help point to the culprit. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « btw, just curious. the smell only happens when pump fuel (for my case pump full or half also have the issue) but once the smell it gone in a few minutes time, it never came back until the next refuelling if it is the fuel pump issue, will the smell only comes when refuelling only? |

QUOTE(zaidi @ Apr 2 2014, 11:31 AM) actually both incorrect. is this the reason for the fuel smell in cabin? what do you use to seal it?the seal is to close the gap with the body in the petrol access. refer to the pics ![]() ![]() if you do nanomist and found there is smoke coming out from there, chances is you need the seal |

QUOTE(alexei @ Apr 17 2014, 09:38 AM) After survey Racechip, it's RM1699 including installation. Dyno not included, plug and play only. Tuning done by EA Auto. Including other aftermarket poison, it's about RM3k - RaceChip, boost spring, Works cam gear, Mythelogy pulley. 2~3 hours needed. will this violate warranty?Pricewise compared to EU mother site, it is not expensive, according to RaceChip: Then I asked a mechanic, he asked me why not Unichip. I looked that up, and it seems to be highly customizable where it can learn and use can reprogram up to 5 fuel maps. Also quite expensive, including the turbo module. That's when I found RS Tune. They recommend me EFR2T, priced at RM950 including installation and dyno tune to remap fuel+turbo. Will update more. btw, i am not expert in car but this mod will help improve FC? |
