I usually average around 8.5km/L for 100% city drive

Pretty reasonable to me considering it's power. Compared to Innova's 10km/L but very underpowered.

The cooling fan is noisy even when idling. This is very normal as to cool down the massive amounts of heat the turbo engine generates.

I also noticed during the first few weeks when my EB still very new, the fan is on very often and for long periods of time.

The Fan operates accordingly to the engine temperature. It is programmed to cool your engine after a long/short journey.Once it reaches the hot zone, when you turn off the engine the fan will cool your engine till the engine heat reduces to certain degrees. The fan sound is very loud and no doubt in that.

Also don't forget to warm up your eb since it's turbocharged.Straight start the engine and go will damage the turbo ball bearing.Price of the Turbo is 6K.

Start and let the engine warm up for atleast 7minutes or 10mins.
