How's the video quality against Q10 you have? Compared this 2, which would you prefer... Why?

The best Amlogic S912 TV box that I tried so far - RKM MK22 Plus Review (3GB RAM & 32GB ROM) @ https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4167059

Thanks for the detailed review. A few quick questions;
*Does it support Audio Passthrough... which formats?... I'm also assuming with its CPU-GPU combo, hardware decoding is norm.
*Gaming controller(s) used or supported? Wired or Wireless?

Any one here using The King (the older model will also do)? Like to have some feedback from users.

Just wondering what else can it be better.

P/S Like comparing BMW with Lexus with Honda with Proton?

Depends on your equipment.. Actually for non-power users without the proper audio-visual hardware, the Nvidia shield 1 or 2 is definitely overkill. Think of it this way, some ppl can or only require their cars to drive to 120Km/h (0-100 in 15 secs) max, others want to see 320km/h (0-100 in 4 secs) and still be able to take corners, all without achieving lift off.. brows.gif

Tons of YouTube videos showing performance... that's real world data right there.

haha... You sir has won the internet today. I believe this does indeed answer that question perfectly; Borrowing experiences from May 2015, no box produced in 2017 and well into 2018, will top it. The Nvidia Shield TV V2 is the bestest box in the world. laugh.gif laugh.gif

hey guys

I've got the UBOX 3 and it seems to be working OK although not many channels are reliable. Had also installed the popcorntime and showbox apps on it. They were both working fine until recently, when the subtitles on both apps have gone haywire.
Any advise from those who seen this happen?

thanks!

Both has own pros and cons, I prefer Q10 Pro for movie as auto framerate switch is supported and slightly better picture quality.
MK22 Plus for almost other daily stuffs especially gaming. Suitable for normal users.

Didn't have the right equipment to test it. Looking for it now. Any suggestion that don't cost an arm and a leg?

I am using Gamesir G4s. All Bluetooth, wired and USB dongle are working.

Hard to get really decent AVR + Speakers capable of handling up to Dolby Atmos & DTS:X for under RM3K.. Even for 5.1/5.2 configurations... Popular brands would be Onkyo, Denon & Yamaha.. Perhaps, branded Home Theaters instead? Say from Sony or Samsung. Need to browse around audio shops for more.

hi guys, i just got my beelink mx3 ii few days back, and i was using a Venz V10 player from year 2009, its a Realtek Chip (RTD1185) with 2GB NAND flash storage. there is also no capabilities to install software. Its those old

So i tested some movie files on both to compare. Was suprised the old Venz player produce much better video quality in terms of details and colour reproduction compared to the beelink. and it was able to take DTS or AC3 audio.
Just wondering why because theoretically the beelink should do better in terms of tech? or is it because the old player is fully using HW decoder and the newer players are all on Android based ?

sorry if my terminologies are off, not very good at this stuff haha.
