QUOTE(plumberly @ Jul 24 2016, 10:31 AM) Yes, 101% agree with you. Nicety is a very good seller with very good customer service in mind. true...customer service is the most important and after sales service.Very impressed with his after sales service so far. If you can get a slightly cheaper product from another supplier A than Nicety, I will still recommend that you get it from nicety. His friendly and excellent after sales service is worth 1,000 times more than the RMx0 saving from other suppliers. Another guy who does good job is b0700738 |

QUOTE(ricstc @ Oct 5 2016, 01:21 PM) the pasar malam at my taman was selling and demoing one for It depends on whats the spec of the box? If its 2GB RAM with 16ROM; then its worth it. You can still addon your own apk, if you find some are not working later on.rm399 I asked why so expensive and they said got special apps that has 'everything' - from latest movies to latest serials English and Chinese and added that if I can get these apps (apks) then they will close shop bcos its so special really? |

QUOTE(ricstc @ Oct 5 2016, 01:31 PM) cant be sure but mentioned 8 core something If you are willing to spend some time, yourself configuring and exploring, then start with https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=198&t=39439061 gb and 8gb something so I assume its not that high tech but the thing is is it true that the apks for movies are so hard to get that we are practically held hostage to buy lower spec hw but console outselves bcos we don't have their secret to how to get those apps? I mean I'm willing to pay RM200 for that movie apps - anyone? |

QUOTE(ricstc @ Oct 5 2016, 01:46 PM) hey thanks a lot yep...there is 2 ways that normally people would takeyes it was/is 'Kodi' as I saw this splash screen when they tried to change apps / exited the app and relaunched it again in steps of the demo so I will start my research from that link and see how thanks again one...buy a pre-configured (rm400-600) - saves time - hassle of keeping tap on whats working and finding and updating sources - normally those who sells here in LYN do provide after sales support as well - this would you to learn about media player/kodi as you learn to use it two....buy it bare (cheaper (rm200-300) - one would like to explore - its fun, like when you got your first notebook, you learn to configure and setup the entire thing - keep abreast with changes and technology - yeah time consuming so the choice is yours..all the best |

QUOTE(zero721 @ Oct 13 2016, 08:48 AM) I see. Thanks. Sound's like it's better to have this poet for tv box. Planning to buy mi box US version. Too bad it don't have this port. what do you mean it doesn't have a LAN port?ALL media player has a LAN port which is connected to your router in order to stream any movies. In return, your media player would be connected to your TV via a HDMI connection. |

QUOTE(manx @ Oct 17 2016, 09:09 AM) LOL thats true!!! hahahakschan10 Media Player are not replacement for subscribed channels; they are just supplementary and complimentary to what we have today. BUt, yeah, some had ditched Astro, not bcoz they get the same channel, but they had more entertainment channels to view compared to Astro, hence they willing to forgo Astro channels. Android TV boxes, there is no guarantee, you may receive a channel/stream today, the next moment, you might not be get it. You have to constantly, keep abreast on changing providers and streams. |

QUOTE(kschan10 @ Oct 17 2016, 12:10 PM) guess its not as easy as what i've heard from. once you get the hang of it...its fun...there are so much information all over and not forgetting here in LYN as well.coz im not that tech savy, it will cause me lots of prob if im gonna need to monitor and find solution if the channel is not working. thx for the input guys. guess will nit to stay with astro. I would say get a simple box min 2Gb ram /16GB ROM; will do and start to play around. Infact you could start with your cellphone as well, as a trial, how easy it is. The channels that is not consistent for streaming are sports and live tv, movies channels majority are kinda stable. |

QUOTE(irwan6179 @ Oct 20 2016, 07:02 PM) Pc will always struggle more unless it's the new kaby Lake processor because it's based on software decoding. Whereas most TV box support hardware decoding for hevc. Why arent you looking at Himedia? Is it due to pricing?By the way, gear best is having promo Mini M8S II 4K Smart TV Box Amlogic S905X 2gb+16gb version for $38.99. Worth it? [attachmentid=7821270] ELse, look at OEM box such as Octa Core TVBox http://www.lelong.com.my/z4-tv-box-android...7-01-Sale-I.htm |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Oct 24 2016, 04:42 PM) Yeah, it's worth it to get the Neo A2 Lite Airmouse + Keyboard.. Majority of the sellers actually bundle both remote & box together. For one, you won't have to worry about compatibility issues. I also like the fact that it doesn't use inbuilt batteries.. Better to use replaceable & rechargeable batteries instead, won't have to worry about an inbuilt battery losing its ability to hold a charge or pull a Note 7 what do you think, compared to Mele F10 airmouse? |
