Wow when did iflix support nvidia shield. I think my Himedia box has not been supported yet.
I believe it requires Widevine DRM to be enabled, since the only other unofficial Android-powered box that I know of that runs iFlix is the Minix X8-H Plus.

Once again.. Minix FTW!! The team recently became a Diamond Sponsor of the XBMC Foundation. That's a plus for me right there. Now, if only android TV would play nice.... Waiting on their next android powered hardware.

All they need now is to get Google licensing, just like Wetek, then can play Google Movies and Netflix in HD.

True, let's see if they do. Haven't tried Google Movies service before cuz no need yet for it and found an easier workaround to get Netflix 1080p & 5.1 surround sound through Samsung's inbuilt Smart TV app. That has been working flawlessly. Wetek? Looks like a contender, off to check them out. Their intro video claims support for custom roms & Linux OSes. Nice!

Yup their team is quite active. Stock it runs Android 4.2.2. You can also install OpenElec, tested this and it's much faster than Android.
Mine running CyanogenMOD 11 at the moment, with TVHeadend running on Android. The only downside is the box uses AMLogic AML8276-MX only.

hi all, i wish to buy one tv box, which one to choose?
watch: Livesports Movie TV show (AXN, foodnetwork, Nat.Geo...)
so that I can cut ASTRO forever !
Movies? Yes... TV Shows? Yes... Live TV & especially Live Sports? Yes & No... Astro subscription will always be Astro and all other ehem! services cannot be depended on like Astro/HyppTV etc. There are tons of boxes that can handle your needs, question is what's your budget and your skill level? Willing to play dirty? You'll probabaly end up using Kodi, so make sure whatever box you decide on has dedicated dev support.

True... It's sad that manufacturers simply refuse to build that one box that rules them all!
USD$228.46 plus shipping direct from Amazon. Takes about one week to arrive. Indeed. Reminds me a bit of the old PS2 slim.
It also runs iFlix.

I'm waiting for Crysis 3. Tried War Thunder, seems like it's the same version running on PS4. I wonder if it'll support my HOTAS hehe.
iFlix APK download from Google Play Store with one of the APK downloader on web browser.
