USD$228.46 plus shipping direct from Amazon. Takes about one week to arrive. Indeed. Reminds me a bit of the old PS2 slim.
It also runs iFlix.

Oh.my.god. I am totally jelly with u bro. That is one sick 'box' and wish had the $$ to spoil it on hehe.. One ques, that's the whole price u paid, nothing more?
I can vouch for this model, real snappy, smooth, very stable firmware, great wi-fi connection, balanced picture quality, nice launcher, USB connect without problems unlike some other brand (full of various issues here there), good for Kodi and other apk for drama/movies... Took me less than an hour to setup everything to my liking
Yes it only comes with 8Gb memory, but if you using just for watching like myself, its more than suffice, currently with everything loaded, it only takes up 1.6Gb of the overall space. Some may say it only has single band 2.4GHz, but if your router is setup properly, the wifi should connect without dropping too much as opposed to other brand that has 2 band capability and yet still drop like 70% of the speed from 20' distance to router
However, did not try playing game but am guessing it should be good as well. Best all all, fits well below your budget
This is my exact experience using this.... SUNVELL T95M
Wow, a sub RM200 android box with great review. Thanks for the info, bro. Found on lazada but shipped from overseas, just RM142.30 Lazada link
Did u update the firmware or leave it as it is as per original state? Worried if update then the whole setup gone and need to manually reconfigure everything.. so leceh
Get the Minix Neo U1... I'd pick it over the Mi Box any day without blinking. Do a search on this thread for a personal review and that of others.. I can tell you right away that I haven't come across a 1080p HEVC file it didn't handle smoothly..
Nice.. 1080p hevc 10bit supported? Have u tested bro.. My pc struggle to play 10bit hevc file, normal hevc can
To reconfirm, tested the following.... "jellyfish-60-mbps-hd-hevc-10bit.mkv" (60 Mbps Bitrate, 1920x1080, HEVC)... Started & played smoothly.. No hiccups. "jellyfish-90-mbps-hd-hevc-10bit.mkv" (90 Mbps Bitrate, 1920x1080, HEVC). Started off with some slight but noticeable jerking, till about halfway (15 seconds) into the file playback, smooth playback achieved (Vtec kicked in yo! )... This is the highest bitrate 1080p file available from the popular Jellyfish Bitrate Test Files website. Guess, I have found the one 1080p HEVC 10-bit file that the Neo U1 struggled with smooth playback.
4K HEVC 10-bit is also supported..Untested..but has been confirmed by other users and online reviewers.
Depends on the PC specs.... No issues here on either files, while using VLC on an Octa-core i7-xxxxHQ CPU with dedicated GC.. Fan did ramp up higher than usual though for the 90 Mbps file
Guys.. got a budget arnd ~RM700.. and eyeing between the Himedia Q10 Pro and the Minix Neo U1.
I like the idea of the Q10 Pro can slot in a sata hdd, where i can dump all my medias in the sata hdd, snap it into the box and no more worries abt space.
