install mine above JPJ legal but not that high until too obvious. VLT front window and Windscreen slightly above VLT requirement, never caught by roadblock. but this thing is not sure if bad luck kene. installed my car back in 2015 up until now ok

Thank you. Am considering something similar too. 50% windscreen and 35% for front and 20% rear windows.

the usual road block dun check for tint vlt... but once in a while ops cermin gelap will flag obviously dark tints...

if you have black interior and small windows... yours i think could look quite dark... anyways good luck

Interior is white. But your point is my worry too, maybe I’ll just not bother with it and stick to 70% and 50%. The thought of having to talk and deal with the cops when in the wrong for trivial things like this is frustrating.

I think anywhere from 60% upwards looks really clear, unlikely to get caught in operasi. My city old tint VLT 70% read 64% (maybe old city FWS darker by default), black interior. Gone thru so many operasi liao over the years, no issue. However there is no garantee lar, how do know if you suddenly met a roadblock desperate to hit quota, then gg. Unlikely tho as 60% really looks like clear tint.

Only issue is when going for Puspakom for checks, transfer, etc. Note, 70% tints also mostly likely fail puspakom (not all, some borderline pass) unless you go for 80% tint, that one garantee pass.

for name change, straight remove windscreen and front window tint, rear no need cz current regulation unlimited VLT. After setel Puspakom, go tint shop for these 3 section screen

Isn’t 70 and 50 for windscreen and front windows like the legal regulation limits? They give you shit even for that? 😧

65 is not legal but hard to tell from 70...

what i meant to say... if saman i rather kena for dark tint, at least get to enjoy what i want... if kena with 65 is really stupid bad luck...

anyways you seem to be worried about it... best go with 70/50 for peace of mind wink.gif otherwise reserve/include some saman money into budget...

some shops example like hamel... their tints looks quite dark but they claim jpj compliant and will settle your saman if kena...
some films visually looks darker than meter reading... maybe you can seek these out...

Tint first lar...after cure a bit, then on install dashcam on top of the tint.

It make no sense to install dashcam, then tint have to cut a hole around dashcam. Wait change dashcam models with different size, got hole there. So do tint first.

My car (8 years plus) with Huper Optic since day 1. Park under hot sun during work days, so far no bubble or peeling or distortion.

Not many people realise how good Huper Optic is.

I have 3-4 car with Huper optic. First car 7 years still good. Second car & 3rd car now also already 7-8th years still good as well.

Forever will use huper optic.

A lot of people here were singing praises for the 3m crystalline - which is what I was going to go with.

Hi, want to ask all sifus here. Anyone using RhinePro Diamond 11 for few years? How’s the performance in terms of front windscreen visibility and cooling effects?

Deciding between 3M and RhinePro, since both also in similar price category.
