Cheap international call: http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/...OBILEWORLD.HOME

Is it good? Calls to Malaysia 5.9p per minute (landline) and 8.1p (mobile). I prefer not to use calling cards, and deal w/ contracts.

If you are interested in making calls to Malaysia from the UK, then you might want to consider http://www.talk4longer.net/cheap_free_call...&Submit2=Search
for calls as low as 1.5p to Malaysian landline or 2.5p to Malaysian mobile from your uk mobile.

Compliments to youngkies for sharing this link.

Man, i got a B in my maths, so I don't know can go imperial or not. I got scholarship from JPA but don' t know whether I can get into the college itself. How ironic.

Anyway, wondering whether there are free GPS maps available for the UK especially London area, for use in PDA phones? Or are they all usually only available for purchase?

Anyone heard of University of West England? It's located in Bristol. How good, or bad is UWE, and how's life in Bristol? I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to register for a 2+1 UK Transfer Degree program, any advice is very much appreciated. smile.gif

I am also planning to go to Imperial (based on my lecturer's suggestion actually tongue.gif) which will be funded by my university.

I am going to pursue my Master's Degree under the Signal Processing area, but seeing that many people here stated that living in London will be expensive, I wonder if there's any other institute that you guys can recommend under that field.

I did some research on several institute in UK, just wanted to hear opinions/suggestions from more experienced person.

Thank You. notworthy.gif

UWE? so-so uni only. not a really reputable, nor top uni at all.

very nice campus, quite expensive city to live in, expensive tuition fees, crap transport network, very huge city, shopper heaven.

my advise, go for 2+1 despite the uni is so-so uni only. go and experience culture in other country. somehow indirectly, you will learn better survival, communication etc skills and see what is a developed country looks like.

the education fair is meant to promote UK education. The agents/representatives are there to promote their respective Unis.

For undergrad, you will have to apply via UCAS and the agent can assist you with this. They will claim some form of remuneration for services rendered by the University upon your enrolment.

Northumbria is an average uni among the Unis in uk but I believe that it is at least in the higher average if you are considering former polytechs

Northumbria is subpar at best in terms of reputation. Try another university if you can.

if u plan to finish of early, might as well just study in some cheap college in malaysia.

nowadays there are too many overseas graduates in malaysia. employers have learned how to choose those from the good universities and put aside the not so good ones. 20 years ago, sure, u can just graduate from any university in the UK or US and everybody would be welcoming u with open arms wink.gif.

my advice: go find a really good uni.
