QUOTE(melt @ Aug 7 2008, 11:38 AM) Water bill cost around GBP40-60 for 3 months what is student apartment? and what the different?Electricity bill depends if the house are using gas then it will be much cheaper.(Heating with gas is far much cheaper than using electricity) dont forget about council tax as well. Mine cost GBP100 per month(since you are a student you will not need to pay this but will need a letter from your uni). Internet fee should cost around GBP20-30 depends what requirement you wanted. If can i suggest that you rent a student apartment as it should be far much cheaper. Most of the student apartment are not far from the city center |

i wonder was this needed to paid the 295P?
this is what i get from the handbook from the university. QUOTE We would recommend that you travel to Belfast directly or via another UK airport (eg. London Heathrow) instead of via the Republic of Ireland (eg. Dublin). This is because if you arrive via the Republic of Ireland, the procedure for clarifying your immigration status in the UK is more diffi cult. There are no border controls between Northern Ireland (part of the UK) and the Republic of Ireland, for your passport to be checked. You would therefore be required to submit your passport together with an application form, accompanying documents and a £295 fee to the UK Border Agency in Croydon, England. This process can take several weeks. If you enter Northern Ireland via this route, please contact Queen’s International as soon as possible after your arrival. so how i should go to belfast? the best and cheapest way? |

QUOTE(sense_less143 @ Aug 12 2008, 09:52 PM) Cheap international call: http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/...OBILEWORLD.HOME why not malaysia call to uk?Is it good? Calls to Malaysia 5.9p per minute (landline) and 8.1p (mobile). I prefer not to use calling cards, and deal w/ contracts. to uk landline using maxis IDD 132, just 20sen per minute... more more cheaper. |

QUOTE(K-I-R-A @ Aug 17 2008, 11:19 AM) Added on August 17, 2008, 11:23 am Yesterday I went to the British Council briefing. All visa applications must be done online. Download your application form from www.vfs-uk-my.com The total application fee is RM664. You have to complete the application form and make an appointment with the High Commision(if I'm not wrong, located on 19th floor, Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang. You would need to prepare a white background, passport size photo. You should allow 5 working days. You will need unconditional letter of offer from the uni you are going to. Hope I helped you. Cheers the fee is paid on the spot by cash? or? and if fail, than the rm664 gone? if fail, than reapply also need to paid that rm664 again? |

QUOTE(K-I-R-A @ Aug 17 2008, 07:15 PM) pay using bank draft ok, thank alot...bout that, I'm not sure the best is to give a call to vfs you can look for their number at vfs-uk-my.com now the case is i need at least 100k as a prove for them so than i can get the visa but i have not enough cash. so plan to take from my parents epf. but the epf people say i need to get the visa first before can apply it. and i need to prove i have 100k only able to get the visa... so what can i do? i apply visa first with the efp statement? |
