Is it just me or am I noticing more and more auction properties popping up? sweat.gif

If I recall correctly, it was sometime in late 2010 that I last witness auction properties. Didn't noticed any in 2011, 2012. A few popped up in mid 2013 and now.... whistling.gif

Are there any good properties in well established locations and low reserve prices compared to market prices?

My answer is no.

A lot of properties up for auction are located in rural, mid and low end areas.

I am still waiting for properties from good locations for auction i.e. Ara Damansara, Bandar Utama, Bangsar, Sri Hartamas, Ambang Botanic.

Only those worst prop location and high ticket will hit the auction broadcast, better ones taken before real auction.

Logically speaking. If I dun drive, 0% chansi to get accident. If I drive 5hrs a day regardless urban drive or on highway, higher chansi to get accident.

Last time less new launching, less auction props. Recent yrs more launching, more auction props.

Like tis ok boh???

I think alot will depend on the new rate framework that BNM will announce early next year to replace the current BLR system.

Thanks.

The scary thing is that article appeared on 14 Dec 2012, a year ago. They were already seeing/sensing something was not right with the RE market.

I would prefer the bubble burst to happen sooner bcs it's very difficult to sell when prices are so high. I bought low so I'm fine with it. After selling if buy again will be okay - sell low,buy low. First-time buyers who have been waiting for the bubble will be the happiest. Those who will find themselves in deep shit are those who bought high, can't hold on and have to let go. Wow,sure rugi one big hole.
