sorry if slow ...
"In anticipation of a shock" A FEW weeks ago, a friend of mine was having a discussion with a property agent. He wanted to flip his condominimum after taking vacant possession but was told by the agent he will find it difficult to sell his property at the price he wants. She told him it’s a buyers market out there. He then confided in me that he was paying RM10,000 to service his loan on the property. If he were to sell his unit at the price he wants, the buyer will probably have to pay a higher monthly instalment. Just how many Malaysians can afford to pay for such a property? full article: http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...of-a-shock.aspx |

I'm most curious, why the average Malaysians die die must own a property instead of comfortable with renting . Renting not a bad option actually. Don't like the place, can simply move out. Can upgrade residence without needing to worry about assessment, rpgt, maintenance fee etc etc... yawn.gif
-------------------------------- when I bought a small low cost flat - ppl want to come to see my "new house" when i rent a medium cost condo - nobody interested to come ... you tell me why... |

I still don't get it. Terus terang why huh? Are you saying Malaysians have pigeon eyes? tongue.gif and we have to put up a show to gain society's approval?
--------------- bro, I also dunno their mentality ... maybe they tot we were poor since need to rent ... but actually the condo rental very low ... some more we pocketed the sales commission when we moved out and intro the condo to a fren to buy it... |

4 reasons why 2014 could be a turbulent year for stakeholders of the Singapore private property market
Reason 1: More new properties are going to flood the market Reason 2: More resale units can be expected when the 4-year Seller Stamp Duty duration expires Reasons 3: Owners who overstretched themselves financially will have a hard time securing refinancing Reasons 4: The pool of potential property buyers has shrunk significantly sos: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/property-bl...-002122856.html |
