Need some advise here,
Breakfast - Protein + 5tables spoon oat + 3 bananas and blend them. Sometimes 6 slices of bread with cheese/tuna/egg + just protein shake without oat and banana. Lunch - Depends where am I. Most of the time Economy rice with chicken+vegetables. Sometimes chicken rice or fried rice. Dinner - Mum's homecook food. Pretty much balanced, Fish, vegetables and unpolished rice. Fruits before meal. I do take snacks in between breakfast-lunch, lunch-dinner. Some bread. Supplements? B-Complex, Vitamin C, Glucosamine Sulphate(I had knee surgery twice) I'm currently 173cm @ 74Kg. Hoping to shed of at least 8Kg? Used to workout, but stopped recently due to exams are coming close. Hmm, dont plan to have bulky muscles Arnie or Sazali like but just being fit something like Muay Thai fighters ? Would like to go more into core conditioning and yago rather than body building. ...looks like u got a lot of good food.....and nice supplements. If ur into physiques like muay thai fighters, you've still gotta eat a lot. However, you don't have to bulk up and down. It's more like maintenance.
And 177@74KG, I think it's good that you maintain that weight. Read up on how muay thai fighters train la....i think their physique, it's more of training.....compared to eating. |

QUOTE(tytaniumism @ Jan 22 2007, 10:40 PM) Well no not really. You don't need to eat meat to lose weight. If you're not exercising, exactly how do you intend to lose weight? Eating less won't really do it, the fact that your posting here asking on advice on weight loss proves that point. If your metabolic rate is low and keeps getting lower as you eat less and remain relatively inactive, what's going to burn your calories? If you're lazy, you're just going to have to be content with your weight or you could go waste money on products that advertise fat loss like the uzap or whatnot. Then again if you're looking to lose weight regardless of fat, 5kg is very doable. Dehydration works wonders on the weighing scale. eta: Vegetarian eating eggs? Thats kinda... "off" don't you think? Well... I also know to lose weight effectively exercise is the way. My only hobby is swimming but recently keep raining so I dont really feel like doing it.
Anyway, I'll heed your advice and try to exercise more. Exercising rulez, I know. Thanks.. p/s: some vegeterian food includes eggs, some dont. It's jz the ways people perceive things. |

Just a question to you guys, how should the cardio be done in order for the most effective fat loss? would higher resistence or longer duration be more effective?
I do find myself hard to catch my breath when I try go higher on resistence. Is that normal? |
