Anyone has any idea when unifi will be available in bandar country homes, rawang?
I just moved from Gombak to saujana rawang. I applied for a transfer of my current Streamyx 4mbps line to the new house but they said there isn't any available port at my new place and I have to cancel the line to avoid any unwanted payments. When I asked if I can atleast upgrade to Unifi, they said Unifi is not available in the place. Is this real? I'm currently in a huge dilema as my work depends hugely depends on internet. Anyone can help with any suggestions?

Some area in rawang is under maxis territory, you may check with maxis for maxis fibre broadband

Very sure maxis isn't available in saujana rawang, country homes. Anyone can varify on streamyx/unifi service availability in this area? Using wireless broadband is my last option as I'm a heavy user and share the connection with my sister.

I believe it's 5mbps + hypptv then it's free upgrade to 10mbps. Not sure if you subscribe 10mbps is the same.

If you're worried, get your own contractor to drill the holes. I can tell you that the installer will most likely just drill and tampal the hole with some filler.

does anyone know if it's possible to suspend unifi services for a certain period on a contract?

like let's say, stop unifi during may and june (thus no need to pay) and then continue the service from july onwards...

You need to check if ur channel clash with neighbour or not.
If it is, then probably will slow down ur internet speed because ur device cant diff which router signal properly.

I bought a TP-link 500mbps homeplug, unfortunately i tested at my hometown the speed can reach only 7-8 megabytes per second (64 mbps+-) between 2 directly 13A plug, and it is single phase meter.
Which I think not within hypptv HD requirement.

Instead of install the unifi at first floor backroom, so no choice decide to install the unifi directly at living room.

Probably the wiring cables all are too old already.

Hypptv configured only 10Mbps, it's more than enough. Actually I tested aztech homeplug 500mbps.. Even side by side I only able to achieve 100Mbps.. Far from advertised.

BTW bluray only use around 40Mbps.. how high do you think hypptv bitrate?

Hypptv 10 mega bit per second? or 10 mega bytes per second.
Hmm sorry i might confuse on this. then probably enough. and another problem is, sometimes the homeplug work sometimes not.
I cant figure out why.
Something wrong with the 13A near my hometown tv cabinet.

the rest of plug is OK.
