anyone received any email from TM CAMS? i received an email saying that i have Rm432.20 unpaid and that i reached 90% of my credit already.

but my monthly bill is Rm149 and i only haven pay for January and February. so should be Rm 298. cannot get the Rm432.20 figure

Try to call Tm but they say customer service down, and Unifi.OCC portal also down for maintenance.

Sounds great mate. I think it's about time I change my router. I always change mine every year.
Mine is probably about to die lol. Thanks for the recommendation  icon_rolleyes.gif

what is your budget for the router ?

because I just change mine to the Asus RT-n14UHP, a mid-range router with pretty good performance.

Probably 200 max.
But you can suggest a few if you want with price. I'll look into it and consider.

Anyone know any UNIFI salesman I can talk with in LYN?

For that budget, you can get the ASUS RT-N14U for RM162 in lelong.com.my
RT-N14U Pros:
* Gigabit Ethernet

RT-N14U Cons:
* Internal antennas, weaker WiFi coverage
* MediaTek CPU: Not supported by any 3rd party firmware.

But if you're willing to add a few extra bucks, you can get the ASUR RT-N14UHP - RM249 in lazada.com.my
RT-N14UHP Pros:
* Very large WiFi coverage
* Broadcom CPU: Lots of 3rd party firmware.

RT-N14UHP Cons:
* No Gigabit Ethernet

And if you're willing to max out your budget to RM329, you can get the ASUS RT-N16.
ASUS RT-N16 is better than the 2 model I've listed earlier.
Although it's rather hard to find RT-N16 nowadays as lots of seller is out of stock.

Not a problem.
First you have to make sure your new house / office is under UniFi coverage.
Once you've made sure that the new area can install UniFi, just notify UniFi you want to move to a new location by calling UniFi helpline or go directly to any TM Point.

Why?
Do you really want the UniFi quota to be implemented that badly?

@sHawTY,

I search the whole of lowyat and digital mall for RT-N16, many reseller told me is a discontinue model.

I guess the only way is to buy online oversea or at the garage sales where there are some left over stock.

have to agree with you that the RT-N14UP lack of No Gigabit Ethernet, other then this feature, is pretty on par with N-16.

I brought mine at All IT for $259, other reseller like viewnet, C-zone and sri comp is selling around $279 - $289

Yeah, it's really hard to find RT-N16 nowadays.
The downside is, there aren't any other model that's as good as RT-N16 that's still around RM3**.

The next in line would be RT-N66U which is much more expensive compared to RT-N16. sweat.gif

You can't use that router with UniFi on stock firmware.
The only way to use that router with UniFi is by flashing the firmware to OpenWrt.

There are several hardware version for the DIR-825.
What hardware version is yours? The hardware version is usually written on the sticker at the bottom of the router.

DIR-825 Hardware Versions:
A1,B1,B2,B1/2,C1,D1

retrace all your eStatements/eBills.

assuming no add-on pack subscriptions, most probably missed payment (been carry-forwarded for months now) or excess call usage local/IDD.

You have probably requested for an upgrade? Do check if there is a discount of RM50 in place under the internet.

Hi wengjoe,
So how is the performance of your new ASUS router...i am using the TM L7 router currently for my Unifi ( VIP5) and the coverage is very weak. Basically it only cover the living and dining room of my double storey hse. Looking for some option to increase it to the whole hse. No heavy downloading but just normal surfing. Seem like this ASUS router is getting good review...i am bit noob in this networking and IT things. Plan to give this a try...but at least get more good feedback b4 throw my 250 away.
Or any sifu get give me a little more guide.
