Hi, I'm currently subscribed to the 10 mbps unifi package + sports pack. Paying Rm 229 a month. However, I just noticed that theres a promotion to upgrade existing customers if they opt in for the sports or platinum package at RM 199 a month.

Can I get this new lower price, or has TM fked me over? Thanks

60GB really not enough for me... 60GB can use within 5 ~ 7 days
One of the agent told me somewhere KL already started the quota, not sure true or not

my Unifi supplied D-Link router fried. called their CS and he walked me through in ensuring that all the things are properly set up, so confirm the supplied wireless router died. it'll cost 170 to get a replacement from unifi, and since my warranty is over, i bought an Asus RT-N12 D1 at lowyat, jayacom for 120.

the signal is better, and lower ping, and QOS support (not that i need it now). but def a good buy.

asus has a broad range of wireless routers, rt-n12 d1 fits my budget nicely. custom os support too if you like to tinker around.

if I choose VIP5, can I choose certain channels to subscribe only instead of choose the package (Platinum Pack or Ruby pack or Sport Pack)?

Can, but usually single channel is expensive..example.... RTL CBS is RM9 per month

Actually what it use for??? I use it to charge my handset only..haha..

If the router is D-Link DIR-615, you can flash to OpenWrt firmware & use the USB port to turn a USB printer into a network printer.
With OpenWrt firmware you can also connect an external HDD into the USB port & share it with everyone within the same network.
You can also turn the router into a torrent downloader & save the torrent files in the external HDD connected to the USB port. This way you don't have to use your PC / laptop to download torrent.
