Hi guys. Need help here. My TM router (Oren & White color) kong already T_T. TM charging me RM120.00 for a new router (Cause already 4 years now). Is there any better router available in market?

Another thing, the TM black box. Can't we replace it or have to stick with it till the day we disconnect Unifi? If spoil how? Still need to get from TM as well.

Really annoying to wait from TM to respond.

the offer is when the Unifi personnel call you and offer you. the offer tied to 2 years contract. after end, you can still enjoy the same rate.

anyway, they upgraded my line within 1 hours after I complain. now happy using VIP10 line

so mine is installed on wednesday 2nd of oct, the bill is right? or tm overcharge me anything? im kinda blur TBH 

more details, RM9.94 is for 2nd oct to 3rd oct..another(RM149) is from 4th oct to 3rd nov

Mom fed up with paying VIP 10 so downgraded to VIP 5 (no more incredible download speeds but yeah its not that great afterall) but still have platinum pack lol. to cancel it must pay 300 bucks termination fees, better leave it there then watch one year only cancel.

Sorry if I missed out on some of the posts here, but is anyone here has fulfilled the 2-year contract and has upgraded from 5MB to 10MB promo for additional RM20 /month (for a total of RM169 /month)? I guess this will extend your contract for another 2 years - another ploy from TM to retain you. Anyway, just wanna know whether this is legit and how many of you have upgraded with this package

second call: should the unifi modem + router be left switched on 24/7? my area have power disruption happen almost once a week, will that affect the modem badly?

are you sure ? Because they did send me a notification my speed would be throttled cause i had exceeded mine.

So i don't think your statement is necessarily true (maybe for the average joe, but not for the higher than average users) :/ because i got a different personal experience.
Also it was mentioned that download adds toward the quota, but uploading doesn't. I'm not sure if that is true now or whether they changed their policy 

in the new thread, IPV6 seems to be available now for some areas. So this could possibly improve latency  nice for gamers.

Homeplug? how does it work? I tried to Google it, it seems like a wall plug? my unifi is default setup by the installer.. never modified it. how to know is three phase wiring or not?
