According to Unifi coverage search engine yes. Some areas in Kangar and Arau got Unifi like 'important people' houses <.<

I see. I might just go to TM Point in Kangar. Thanks

I'm wondering, well I don't know to put into words but I'll try my best.

How far does Unifi is available from its point? For example in Kangar, Perlis already have unifi and my place is about 7-8km from Kangar. Is it possible to get unifi or the radius is short like 2,3 km only

Lol so close yet so far.

Hmm.. I really hope they will implement near my place.. I mean Perlis is not really that big.. and it might solve the cable stealing issues that happen on yearly basis.. No more copper for them to strip the cable down. blush.gif

I saw Taman Utama and Taman something got. I went to my uncle house and I saw one of those TM box with F code, thats mean fibre right? His house is not far from Raja Muda house.

I really, really hope my village will get Unifi. 3 times per year some bastards will steal the telefon cable. Worst case the whole village will be out of internet for sometime up to 1 month plus few days. So totally, yearly my village might be out of internet for about 2 months. To top it off, still got to pay full amount icon_rolleyes.gif

Personally, I use Mikrotik RB751-2HnD. Impressed with the feature and performance, able to use internet and IPTV.
Downside of it: Difficult to configure.
Besides that, you might want to try the TPLINK or Asus router that used by many forummer here.
*
Hi, anyone have any comment on TPlink or Asus Router, appreciate if any existing user of the router give me some guidances.

wanna ask...
downloading from amsterdamn server on VIP 10.
everything was fine at first. But 2 hours later, i only get a max speed of 280kbps.
so i open 5 downloads in FTP, all of them average of 2xxkbps.
means line is not throttled, or i am being throttled to max 2xxkb per thread?

*speed test to penang gets a healthy 9-10mbps.(no one stealing my line, yet)

The Amsterdam server may have a download limit.

I've been using the RT-N56U for 2 years. So far no problem. Has built-in support for IPTV from UniFi and Maxis.
