(because some said; your business so bad is NOT caused by 'management' or 'committee members').

Bad business might not be directly "caused" by our beloved JMB but a good JMB would definitely thoughtful enough to not delay the RM11m flyover bridge opening for months (and counting), a business-minded JMB would not screw up a big SW MALL marketing event held in Jan17, a smart JMB would definitely think of how to find synergy for both apartments and retail units and not to "divide and concur", and a caring apartments rep would definitely not allow the facilities in R1/R2/R3 deteriorating and some broken for more than 6 months unrepaired..

Again to those apartment tenants, pls ask for rent reduction from ur landlords.

Update.

I have not included those from this site, who have objected or supported the rock removal in my quick and simple survey, originally meant to help Jmc. This is because I have communicated with COB. He confirms an AGM/EGM decision is needed to remove the sculpture. So Jmc cannot decide on this issue.

I have officially communicated this information to management with cc to all Jmc members, while awaiting for COB' s written response.

To facilitate management or Jmc members verification, I have also provided COB's contact details.

YES!!!!!!!

I suggest let's have a REAL meeting for ALL resident here, at the Mall. NOT just 'secretly' inform when is the 'meeting'. Be practical, be realistic, be effective; distribute flyer/notice to ALL residents, set a date and time meet in front of RedTick. Let's see who agree to move the rock, because of one business was bad!

If go ahead this meeting plan, I'm happy to sponsor any that needed!

Thanks forĀ  your comments so that those on the opposite side of the fence may have a little better understanding of opposing views. Your support (a first in social media so far) for discarding the sculpture will be recorded.

Wish to share a posting obtained from another forum for our info. Apparently SP did spend some big money on the sculptures.

Very bad decision. I understand all sculptures @ setiawalk r commissioned fr a wellknown sculpture firm in bangsar and their works r reputable regionally. Also they dont come cheap. While art is subjective, i am personally against removing the rock as it enhances the natural tereain that is part of the setiawlk water feature.

Unquote.

wah... so called well known sculpture firm can design this piece of crap. macam tipu duit 1. can ask them tapau.
this sculpture totally has no interaction, no sense of harmony with the surrounding environment. worst piece of sculpture.

I don't think any bad luck of business are due to any rocks or sculptures. I believe business failures are due to owners who do not know how to run business & find things to blame. It's unbelievable!!!

It's such a pity... That such a good location retail can be so not happening. I saw a lot of condo units for sale, around 560-600 psf... Is it due to lousy management?

If its at the price, its good price to buy since the surrounding area's new projects r far more Xpensive now. The owners who r selling at these prices r oredi making Capital gains.
