........I would like to ask, why so much fuss just for ONE ARTIFICIAL rock (it's really funny cuz it's not even a real rock, why dont get a REAL rock instead), and not concentrating the effort on :

1.
2.

3.
4.

5. improvements
..

Hope the situation in Setiawalk improves, sigh~~~
*
well said.. those entrusted by us show show leadership quality by introducing changes for betterment of SW instead of making it worse. sigh~~~

i still don understand what is the rationale to stop the lift after 11pm?? really inconvenience.
*
Was told this is being done for security reasons after two office breakins in the past during the quiet of night when less people was at car park. Free access/security is still in the process of being strengthened further. Safety and security is SW's strength. It is given priority over convenience.

I'm using Celcom, still no reception at Ground Floor especially from Wong Kok till Sushi Tei.

Yes Jmc is awared of this. Celcom is supposedly still in the final planning process to improve its signal in SW. This goes with U mobile as well. Should get full signal with Digi and Maxis in SW now. Detailed location feedback would help if this is not true.

I saw the lonely Rock when I step into SW.

I suggest putting words like WELCOME TO SW or a logo would be more meaningful.

In that case maybe more people would take picture together with the Rock.

Saw the proposal before meeting. Thought it was just a personal preference and no possibility for him to get the votes for such an obvious decision to me. Reason given during the meeting were its ugly and blocks the view from Block B. However 3 others just voted for its removal without any comment. The other member who agrees it is ugly, now has no objection to save it. To my knowledge the four are personal friends. This may have compromised the judgement of the other three.

1. An 'ART' just can simply destroyed by 5 (FIVE) common comments. What a shit idea.

2. 'Blocking'? The 1st floor businesses was so bad, is that mean they need to knock down the floors? Move to Ground Floor?

3. By living in a 'community' (condo), it need to be Open, Environmental friendly, Social adaptable, and 'Make Sense' on things around you. If not agreed, move to landed property, be a selfish resident there (you can chop whatever trees you like in front of your house)

4. I suggest fill the pool please. It looks 'ugly' and 'blocking' everyone business too! Invite all hawkers run a night market and hawkers centre there, will be a busy and flourish Setiawalk then! No need worry the dead city like. (I will be the first one move out Setiawalk then)

Thanks

MPSJ meeting involving local councilors, relevant officers and developer was done. Developer agreed to beautify area under bridge. The need to pave road into Wawasan area most likely to be dropped as the whole road is still in good condition. Developer explained it is obviously not possible for it to provide life time maintenance. Bridge was not part of original development order. It was funded and built by SW developer as a community project out of goodwill. After hearing the views, MPSJ now deliberating on outstanding lifetime maintenance issue.

Worth to continue paying what we saw (inspection) at first? What a surprising downgrading Setiawalk. No wander many are sedia walkaway! All these caused by bad management and ineffective committees team.

well said! btw for R1/R2/R3 tenants, you should ask for lower rents from your landlords as the facilities there are mostly damaged and left unrepaired for months (if not years hahahah)!

PLUS:
1. Anyone welcome to steal a car easily in block R3 now, just drive the car out, stop at the bump gate, NO NEED access card, it will 'auto open' welcoming you out!!! Because the auto gate already not working for LONG TIME. (Don't be fool, wave your card!)

2. The Channel NTV 7 not working well (snowy) the past 3 WEEKS after thunderstorm. After 3 times 'informed' and 'complained', still the same, stay 'as it is'! Well done management, still 'stay as it is'!

.....more to come...

Not 100% true. 'Software' is important, sometime. Not only the 'Hardware'.

If you put a group of Marketing and Management genies team on a project, most of the time, they can turn the situation to 'Profitable'!

The sadness thing in Setiawalk now is; management and those 'smart' committee team members only good in point the fingers to others.

Let's share some view here:
1. What to attract crowd to a mall?
2. How to increase the 'repeat sales' for retailers?
3. What is the mixed tenant policy? In order to look for long term benefit?
4. Brand Name vs Real Satisfaction?
5. 'No Policy' rules can help long term goodwill?
6. Why many retailers closed down? (as the one said above; "nothing wrong to do with committee and management"????). If so, all shopping mall in Malaysia should sack out GOOD Management Team or close it down; with NO management office, just to let those retailers 'manage by self'.
7. 'No hostel' rule applied? What type of tenant grouping in Setiawalk now? Anyone seriously check on it? Observe it by your self. This 'small issue' do not affect the Goodwill and Brand(in term of materialism returns) of Setiawalk? Think twice!!! (If you are a smart businessman, or experienced marketing expert, you will know the answer).
7. .....etc...etc
(will be waste of time speak out more here)

To successfully package a brand to achieved a Practical returns and profit, it need some 'skills'. If not, it will like buying a LV bag from Petaling St; "Looks good, but not Practical and die fast".

Thank you

Picture tells a thousand word (fact). Going, going.....GONE! Gloria Jean's , we felt sorry for you,,,,(because some said; your business so bad is NOT caused by 'management' or 'committee members').

<<I suggest you open in other place, that; with Effective Management and 'committee' team, show to Setiawalk; you had a good brand, good franchising team, good products, good customer base, and good profit at last!>>
