Failure project by SP Setia.
Not 100% true. 'Software' is important, sometime. Not only the 'Hardware'.
If you put a group of Marketing and Management genies team on a project, most of the time, they can turn the situation to 'Profitable'!
The sadness thing in Setiawalk now is; management and those 'smart' committee team members only good in point the fingers to others.
Let's share some view here:
1. What to attract crowd to a mall?
2. How to increase the 'repeat sales' for retailers?
3. What is the mixed tenant policy? In order to look for long term benefit?
4. Brand Name vs Real Satisfaction?
5. 'No Policy' rules can help long term goodwill?
6. Why many retailers closed down? (as the one said above; "nothing wrong to do with committee and management"????). If so, all shopping mall in Malaysia should sack out GOOD Management Team or close it down; with NO management office, just to let those retailers 'manage by self'.
7. 'No hostel' rule applied? What type of tenant grouping in Setiawalk now? Anyone seriously check on it? Observe it by your self. This 'small issue' do not affect the Goodwill and Brand(in term of materialism returns) of Setiawalk? Think twice!!! (If you are a smart businessman, or experienced marketing expert, you will know the answer).
7. .....etc...etc
(will be waste of time speak out more here)
To successfully package a brand to achieved a Practical returns and profit, it need some 'skills'. If not, it will like buying a LV bag from Petaling St; "Looks good, but not Practical and die fast".
Thank you
