For myself la, I only consider 5.5 inch and above as phablet.

For all the genius that Jobs was, he didn't live long enough to foresee the emerging trend that the smartphone nowadays are more than just a phone. In fact, many out there are carrying a smart phone and a mini tablet to do more serious work with. As such, it makes a lot of sense for a hybrid like a phablet and you've got to give kudos to Samsung for starting this fad

Err I don't think Samsung the first to have the big screen phone.. I can't recall the phone name, the 5" phone. That time we call it a monster, produced in 2011 I think.. Erghh my memory not so good recently.. Lol..

And remember htc desire hd? One of the first big screen phone

I think its not that impossible, maybe we could approach the distributor, instead of sony shops? as sony shops gains profit from the price the distributor sells to them. My usual mobile phone seller told me this and showed me a price list given from Midlands if not mistaken. At that time the XZ was still selling for 2199, and the price from distributor is 1850, so he sold me the XZ @ 1899. Dont know if this is true, but the price list shown to me had a midland letterhead on it.

Maybe we can bulk/group buy from distributor? just like mobile phone shop to get good price? or we need a registered shop/company to do so? anyways, just a thought..

Since certain sellers selling the XZU at RM21xx, I would reckon that the distributor pricing is about RM2000, which is in-line with the earlier distributor price you mentioned.

Personally, am interested to get the dock and SBH52.

My first 5 inch which I bought ( UK Set) was Dell Streak. Performance mediocre but because of its size I was using it as my main phone n the S2 as secondary phone. Than I sold it for Note (5.3) followup with Note2 ( 5.5) n lately Vega 6 ( 5.9), Mega (6.3) n Mate (6.1)

No , from Sony Malaysia directly . Those who have the unit now can double confirm as there's no sticker or warranty card from midlands or thorus or even dynamics . The warranty card given is the same warranty card we get buying sony products like LCD , Players ,etc . . Double confirmed with the dealer , he also says from Sony direct for XZU

HTC One is even worse. I hardly used it vs the S4 than when I have both of it around same time
