So far only 3G enable model. LTE coming on Sept most probably.
cannot rest on hand and write with pencil

The writing ability of the XZU is just gimmicky and I find it completely not practical. Taking short on the spur notes is still OK and definitely not for extensive writing
If you have used the Note 2 S Pen before you will cursed this XZU writing ability
All the advert n posted youtube videos NEVER show the real situation
First you must/only can use the Sony keyboard
Launch any note app than select PEN from keyboard. You will get a writing pad about 4 cm high
The recognition of my writing ( need to do very slowly) is horrible - accuracy is less than 20% - meaning 8/10 times it fail to recognize my writing. I get frustrated using it. Faster to use keyboard to type. I cannot do any sketching at all
I got the impression based on the demo videos that it can do free writing and possibly sketching - I was terribly wrong
It would be great if just like Note 2 , straightaway I can write and draw on any note app

And never allow any part of your palm to touch the display as the writing will not work

Tell me what phablet now? We used to say anything bigger than 4" is too big. But now 5" is just normal,  iPhone is for minions.. If Job still live now he must slap his own face. Lol..

Looking at u guys with the phone makes me jealous and more envy at that phone.. will definitely purchase XZU when the LTE version comes to replace my old but still mighty 4 years old android phone  A leap from 4" to 6.44".. Love big phones  What makes me in dilemma now is the colour.. white or black  One question to u guys is it complicated to root Sony phone? As I am only familiar with rooting only Samsung n old HTC phone..

Nice to know those modding devs support Sony now. Sony has been great to users, even announcing 4.3 support for their latest devices.

I would love to use Cynogenmod on this beast

I try use Pencil and it run fine, and can touch everywhere you want now.

Yup, consider. I try rest my left finger at screen and I can still touch anything via my right finger, but not working when I try touch with pencil.

I don't have screen protector, not feel to touch with ball pen. hehe...

i try with toothpick..it wont work..

the clear audio + really worked it's magic when ur listening on a earphone, sounded so much better than my note 2.

im talking about when you plug in your earphone, not from the speaker up top the phone 

I just check the baseband version of this phone which is 8974, and surprisingly, the LTE is supported for this snapdragon 800 model, based on Wikipedia
