Hi! Sorry I'm still confuse...

I just bought a starter pack and top up RM20.00

I want to subscribe to UMI 18

Does it mean
1. I need 18 (activation) + 18 (subscription) credit for first time? Total rm36 credit ?

2. Subsequent month as long as I have credit of 18, it will auto deduct / subscribe

Thanks!
*
There's no activation fee of any such for UMI plans. So, assuming that you have ~RM28 of credit(20 for top up + the preloaded credit of RM8 if not mistaken), so if you subscribed to UMI18, then you'll have a remaining credit of RM10 left to be used.
And yes, as long as you have enough credits then it will auto subscribe every month(smses will be sent a few days before the plan expires)

Either should work. I recommend using +62 when saving to phonebook.

I think so, but let's try to put our speedtest results then we'll know whether there's any difference in terms of speed brows.gif

when you subscribe for the plan, you'll receive a sms that states that you had got xx mb of free data(it is sent along with the other usual sms stating that you have subscribed to this plan)

p/s: the free quota is only for 7 days sweat.gif and I'm not particularly sure bout the t&c, will look at it "soon" whistling.gif

EDIT:
This is what I got, are you seeing the same thing?

Attached Image

EDIT 2:
Truth to be told, now you can use *118*3*1*3# to check the data usage for all plans(send "data" to 28118 was the only cross UMI plan way to check, but now *118*3*1*3# is the new way to go(U Mobile Prepaid android app had already been updated to use this code).

EDIT 3:
The free quota is used first then only the quota allocated by the UMI plan is used

Summoning digilife, what's the best way to change current postpaid UM28 plan to prepaid? Been watching my usage, looks like can save a bit that way.

Need to literally "renew". As in 28 to 28, or 48 to 48. If you go from 28 to 48 memang cannot get. As I did that too.

Call rate: 9 cent per 30 second block(for all operators)
SMS rate: 3 cent per sms(for umobile -> umobile), 8 cent per sms(for umobile to other local operator)
