hey, i need some serious opinions and reviews here, pls dont input any jargons and stupid opinions!

i'm thinking of getting the savvy lite next month.. i know its very bare for the $$ basically with nothing except 4 wheels with an engine and dashboard... i'm deciding to install the fog lamp and power windows which according to the sale person it fetched around $550??

i'm looking for a small decent new car to fit my budget around $450 a month... i just wan to know the FC of this car! serious review on this... is $200 enuf to last for lets say 800km?? my current nissan cefiro is around 23 cents a km... how does the savvy compare?? it seems like everyone is giving different fc statistics! so which one is the accurate ones?

i dont the proton website is accurate as to 5.3l/100km? i'm choosing the Auto version.. so yeh gimme some real answers!

dude, RM 200 for savvy is more then enough to last you well into the 1k km region ler

RM 60 for savvy should fetch u around 400 ++ km already....

so for 800 km u just need about RM 100 - RM 120...

1) Why ask for opinions also so fierce?? You think people owe it to you meh.... shakehead.gif

2) How can there be same statistic FC number for different drivers on different road conditions?? doh.gif Just do some research and compile your own data to get an average figure.

Just read a horrible accident involving a Savvy this morning (Utusan paper). The car was damaged badly... probably was going too fast. 1 dead, 3 minor injuries.

lesson : drive carefully on the road...

The dead and injured are driver/passenger in the Savvy?

That's why drive carefully....don't think that just becoz it's tougher than a Waja u can drive like mad cow...

Speaking of accident, i saw a Myvi on Saturday i think, in front of Phileo Allied Damansara (near the Sprint Damansara toll plaza in inner lane). The Myvi pointed sideway (front faced the wall, 90 degree turned), front quite kemek, but windshield intact with minor crack. No serious injuries i guess, as cockpit looks fully intact. I think 2 other cars involved also.

This morning another Myvi...wah-lau, behind me, want to turn into the left lane and bang by a Wira. I heard a sound and thought i was hit...sweat.gif..luckily, not me.....it was at the turning to go into Wisma Semantan from jalan duta....jam like mad this morning there for no reason, i'm sure it'll be even worst for people behind the accident just happened...

dude, u got to know some etiquette in forums man ... with such a tone - its does seems to be very rude, if you would notice, try to be courteous yourself and people will be courteous to you back ...

and if you could try to remain a neutral tone, because if you don't realize this, using "hey" wont help u much ... and the exclamation marks in very two lines is very very rudely annoying ...

looks like u are not asking a question, u are demanding answers ...

just a friendly advice, heed it if you wish ...

Already stated the problems lor...no need repeat and repeat. Basically ok except for the sound thingy which dunno come from where...but it's not a major problem. The rear right door still hard to close even after SA fix it....and i'm still not happy with the petrol cover which is very hard to open even after they lubricate it (WD-40 again???...I think they just wallop and lubricate everything), but better than before.

Do you guys have hard to open petrol cover?? It really sucks such a simple thing can't do properly...maybe need to change the cap altogether??

Oh yeah...the fuel meter is weird...very hard to read.....1st bar can last 4km....last 2 bar will blink immediately and left 1 bar very soon...usually pump full tank only 25litres!!

So far latest fc is 14.xx km/l (i hope i calculate right), which is a bit better than my Myvi at 13.xx km/l (100% city driving).

for the petrol cover thingy, i think Hypermount has found a solution for it....or u can just visit savoc.net, someone post HOW TO solve the problem if im not mistaken

Lol.... my sis' Savvy also got the oil leak after the first service. It's the SC fault. I forgot what was it actually since it was my sis who sent the car and she didn't really understand the problem. They fixed for free of course.

No need go SC, just go to any workshop and ask them to check and stop ur leak. Which SC you go? remind me not to go there....

Remember to top up ur oil also if neccessary.

I also kena once...but from KIA SC on my Sephia...worst is i was out of the country then...luckily my sister came over and notice it and she drove my car slowly to a nearby workshop!!!

hotbits exhaust are malaysia made, dunno which exhaust manufacturer they ask to produce it, just slap on the hotbits sticker/label only. they're not the same as hotbits suspension which are originally from australia.

That's very good fc for a Myvi Auto!!! That translante to 14.23 km/l!! I can't even get that on my Myvi manual. Most Myvi auto owner seems to be getting only 11 to 12km/l.

Do you use a lot of highway cruising? Mine is basically 100% city driving (SPRINT and LITRAK don't count as highway coz always jam!!! LOL).
