QUOTE(chanti-sama @ Dec 22 2006, 09:02 PM) yooo..... has anybody thinking of changing the ad30vt stock speakers? to eminence /celestion/ jensen? the FX loop mod looks awesome. just downloaded the pdf. looks pretty simple enough. no huge mod... definitely worth looking into it. Just try to do it slowly...no pint in rushing things out and if you do it wrong there is no turning back...You will end up destroying your precious gear....good luck and remember start slow.... QUOTE(winkybear @ Dec 22 2006, 10:34 PM) ^ But doing that voids your warranty... Btw just got the ad50 last monday True...but sometimes warranty has seldom fails us where's the amp always kaput a month or two after the 1 year period...aiyahh suckssssss

Think the tough part is breaking the copper path. What did you use to break it?

QUOTE(chanti-sama @ Dec 24 2006, 05:04 AM) Think the tough part is breaking the copper path. What did you use to break it? Naw... The actual breaking of the copper path is easy as the PCB and copper's quite soft. Just get a sharp pen knife and scratch it out "SLOWLY". Trying to avoid the other copper paths is the tricky part cuz it's a pretty tight squeeze in there.

its past its warrranty i guess the hissing sound has been there for really long but i rarely use the high gain channels
but several songs i play really demands for higher gain so the hissing sound is really unbearable if u dont keep on playing
owh well, when my tube dies out, i'll hope its the source of the problem n a tube change will solve it =/

Hi guys/gals, Know where to get Celestion Speaker to replace my stock AD30VT Vox speaker (ie 10" speaker)? Any idea? Doesnt matter in Malaysia or overseas. Thanks. Added on January 30, 2007, 11:40 pmQUOTE(ggoo @ Jan 16 2007, 02:22 PM) what the difference between the AD vox series and the DA Vox series?? I think the DA is the smaller (portable/cut-down) version of the AD series. This post has been edited by Banzai_san: Jan 30 2007, 11:40 PM

Two is One and One is None.

yea, the DA is the portable version. soundwise most ppl say they dont hear much of a difference between that and the AD30.

Welcome to the Vox family bro... AD30VT uses 10 inch & 8 ohm speaker. For Rock/Metal, the best choice if choosing Celestion speaker is the G10 Vintage. I do not know how much the speaker cost. My rough estimate is about the same price you pay for the AD30VT The other is Eminence. I think you have several choices, ie Ramrod, Raging Cajun, etc. I do not know how much they cost, but much less than Celestion if Im not mistaken. Someplace in Puchong...they are the distributor here in Malaysia...Can find their number in Celestion website if i'm not mistaken.... Owwhh G12 blue has always been my target speaker....a set of 4's can reach up to RM8k already.,.. imagine if you have a cabinet collection like Yngwie....

Time for me to bring up this post. I'm thinking of getting the AD30VT. So now where got sell this amp and how much does it cost now? Is it still less than rm1k or already raised price? Btw, this amp is made in china? If tubes spoil how much will it cost to replace one? Sorry for asking so much questions, as this will be my 1st time buying a tube type amp.

CK Music carries the AD-series amp AD30 prolly costs 1.2k now, but thats just probably, i have no idea how much it really costs, check the music shop thread for CK Music's number and look for abang syahril probably can give u a better price =) as for tube changing, it won't die so quickly so don't worry but a good preamp tube would cost roughly 70-120 bucks depending wat brand of tube and where you get it [some places are blatant ripoffs] mine is made in vietnam don't know bout the newer ones This post has been edited by sean392: Jun 26 2007, 03:28 AM
