well, DA-5 retail RM615.
take 20% off still RM490, not worth it.

think i might just go buy the toneport ux-1 instead.

the portable vox amp that can run either with AC or 6 C size batteries.
its actually won quite a few awards already.
basically a smaller version of the AD15, with a 6.5" speaker.

actually the celestion or whatever can be changed.
plus there are different celestions depending what sound you want.
whether you want it to break up early, extra clean sound etc.

the main obvious difference that will affect the sound is the ad30 is a 10" speaker, ad50 has 12".

yea, the DA is the portable version.
soundwise most ppl say they dont hear much of a difference between that and the AD30.

i just found out korg owns vox.
was wondering for awhile why vox uses korg modelling technology in its amps tongue.gif
seems korg also owns marshall.

Vox DA5 sale price IIRC is RM535...
normal price is RM600+.

its 50w, definitely no prob.
i tried a MG50 before with a very hard hitting drummer, tho i had to turn the vol up to at least 8 tongue.gif
