Anyways, I'm thinking that a more efficient speaker would be a more worthwhile investment. Get the AD30 to sound that little bit louder.

alot of them recommended the celestion G10 as a speaker upgrade for the AD30.
but it's a bomb to be shipped here. might as well get a new amp or a bigger amp.

An all tube setup is a long long way for me.

Even if i can have one, am running out of place to put it in my
cramped up room.

And the volume will have my neighbours turning into a lynch mob. sweat.gif

Well, you could potentially get a 4x12" speaker cab (or whatever dimensions you want) and hook it up to the combo...but I have no idea whether results will be any good.

At the rate of getting a head, might as well get a all tube amp head..... (JCM800 2203 drool.gif )

the FX loop mod looks awesome. just downloaded the pdf. looks pretty simple enough. no huge mod... definitely worth looking into it. biggrin.gif

Just try to do it slowly...no pint in rushing things out and if you do it wrong there is no turning back...You will end up destroying your precious gear....good luck and remember start slow.... rclxms.gif
Think the tough part is breaking the copper path. What did you use to break it?

good...  i've read bout the beam blocker, but  im not sure how it can change the sound....  coz u juz put a piece of paper/hard paper infront of the grill right?  have u try the mod??
*
Haha i checked another mod is the donut mod using acoustic foam, technically it distributes the sound evenly...

If ur refering to vox valvetronix line... Then its one of the old models. The newer ones are VTxx or xxVT+
One of the best modelling amps for beginners.

The thread so be changed to Vox Amps instead
