QUOTE(fly126 @ Jul 30 2015, 05:57 PM) http://www.rhbgroup.com/products-and-servi...um-credit-card/ Those places are not cheap to begin with. 15% Cash Back during weekends or 30% Cash Back for LIFE during your Birthday month at selected dining outlets * Cash Back capped at RM50 per month, per customer Dinning Places I'm thinking how does this cash back and 30% work? For e.g. I spend RM 500 for a dinner, so I only pay RM 350 on the bill and at the same time I will receive RM 50 cash back? If like this then I will ask to retain. |

Ya, here in Penang Not much Choice also, I think 3, 4 Dinning outlets onlyGuess MACH is still a better choice for me despite it's just 5%. that's why I have the CC cancelled to avoid AF, GST... after I got M2C (now with Dinning only) Since that No more M2C 5% CB, Ikhwan + PBB VS 's Apps Rejection... Now looking for an Alternative to get more CB This post has been edited by fly126: Jul 30 2015, 10:32 PM |

What is the best RHB cc to hold? Like Hong leong, the best one is Wise card. How about RHB? What is the benefit? I have most bank cc except RHB... Just curious.

Nothing interesting.Applied its Plat for PPL earlier and it gives the highest CL, just cancelled. Really serves no purpose. I have other cards that give me PPL access. So this has to go to make space for others. 8 cards already, in the application for 9th card. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 30 2015, 11:13 PM |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 30 2015, 05:30 PM) I have my RHB Visa Signature since Aug 2013, hardly use it. Late July last year, I called to cancel the card, they call and tell me annual fee and government tax will be waived (can't remember need to swipe x times or not). Early this week, I called them again to cancel my card (only use < 3 times with very small amount for the last 12 months), and they told me my annual fee is already waived for the next 2 years (till 2017 Will be on a business trip soon, and expect to charge > RM20k to my credit for the upcoming trip. So, maybe will use this card for this trip since it offers unlimited 1% cashback for overseas and online transactions. |

QUOTE(richstars8818 @ Jul 31 2015, 11:24 AM) nowadays if ur ccris no record more than 1-2 yrs hard to apply new cc , thats what i heard from my banker friends.. I really don't know but I think it is not that difficult to own a credit card now. but how if u have 5 years record of hire purchase and credit card and you choose to pay off one lump sum to your hire purchase and cancel your 5 years credit card, hence, ur ccris record won't have any records of ur past 5 years hire purchase and cc... and u start to apply cc .. after they check in ur ccris it's clean and... any idea? or bank can check records for ccris even though ur hire purchase been cancel or they will have records for past few years even though u cancel your cc? hmm... |

When I called to cancel my card, a few days later, a lady called me for retention purpose. She asked me what's the real reason that I wanna cancel this card. I told her not much benefits and the hassle of getting a pin to login online banking. I was asked to go to the nearest branch to do this. She promised me will look into it and check with the relevant people.
Anyway, after a serious consideration, I called for cancellation again on Thursday after being retained. Yesterday received this SMS. RM0.00 RHB Cards: Effective Aug 2015, your credit card stmt will be converted to e-stmt. To view your e-stmt, pls log on to RHB Now. Call 03-92068118 for info |
