QUOTE(muctabucta @ Jun 21 2013, 10:38 AM) I don't have an extra handset nor a camera with me now..but i think i did a good job for a first timer..no bubble is visible where it matters except some minimal ones at the bottom and right side edges..manage to minimize by outwardly massaging it using the supplied squeege..one shall not see it if one does not squint one eyes.. Great to hear that ..... Btw, MIME had replied my response. It seem i'm having a bad copied tempered glass. Replacement is on the way. *sigh*the end result does please me as it looks pretty awesome being layered by glass and all..minus the edges it looks like there is nothing being put on the screen..clear as the sky.. and the oleophobic coating..does it job well enough..in a normal condition no fingerprints is visible when tested..but with very sweaty thumb..there are some smudges visible albeit much better than my previous plastic s.p which is solely for clarity purposes only..no oleophobic whatsoever..so no comparison can be made with other oleophobic product.. I will give it 4/5 just because I noticed there could be a lot of things that could go wrong during installation since the width of the s.p is made precisely to the width of the screen allowing minimal adjustment should the installer have unsteady hands..then again if someone like me can apply it justifiably so..without any usage of sorcery..I guess anyone could have done it.. bundled together with my aluminum silver button to compliment the UAG signature at the back of my casing..I can now safely act like a bawse.. ![]() |

QUOTE(muctabucta @ Jun 21 2013, 11:21 AM) Nop, The leak probably from the lifting edge. i had try out the some experiment with water and force and below symptom seem legit as what MIME claim.1. Water was able to sip into the edge of the tempered glass screen protector. 2. Rub and hold one side of the edge, Notice another edge somehow lifted more. (How can i miss that) |

Isn't that unacceptable? I would put that down as either a defective product or design fault since it isn't able to completely do what it is supposed to. Game on trying to make a claim? I would be. Who knows? You just might get a replacement set sent to you.1. Water was able to sip into the edge of the tempered glass screen protector. 2. Game on trying to make a claim? I would be. Who knows? You just might get a replacement set sent to you. Replacement is actually on the way. I did highlight to MIME support team if this is normal to have on their tempered glass screen protector and they admit it is the problem of lifting and honour the replacement.QUOTE(muctabucta @ Jun 21 2013, 11:44 AM) Good for you...Haiz~! had to wait for replacement for another week To used water testing, you need to use a cloth soak it with normal water then apply on the edge... normally if a glass lay flat or seal with no air bubble there wont be water flowing in...but unfortunately for mine, it easily flow in This post has been edited by d33pbluez: Jun 21 2013, 11:14 AM |

QUOTE(kurtkantoi @ Jun 21 2013, 09:53 AM) Did you see the warning i posted.DME6 and DMF2 ROMs have some kind of new "feature" that limits your choice of modem selection. Please read the Omega and Assassin ROM forums for latest news first. I already asked in XDA and there are reports of problems. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 21 2013, 11:51 AM) Did you see the warning i posted. Currently I'm using Wanam v3.8. At first I'm using stock modem from the ROM. I dont have any problem. But then suddenly gatal tangan and then flash to DLK5 and also change kernel to perseus3.6. Lost my IMEI and no connection go though my phone. Luckily its my habit to run full nandroid backup before flashing new ROM and restore EFS using the nandroid backup. Currently run on Wanam 3.8 + Perseus + DLK5 modem. No problem so far. Battery so so only.DME6 and DMF2 ROMs have some kind of new "feature" that limits your choice of modem selection. Please read the Omega and Assassin ROM forums for latest news first.
