Do u guys face any problem restoring backups from tibu after flashing aosp roms like sentinel?
I read in the sentinel rom thread from xda it says restoring backup from tibu is not recommended.
Care to enlighten me?

So if I just restored all, is no diff than restoring in the recovery itself? So factory reset din real I do anything?

I restore from tb all my apps with no issue. Just dun restore system app or messages through tb.

sometimes its wonky
it may and has caused some FCs on various apps...

however, i didn't really bother because i can always restore everything.
i usually restore just apps (without data), wifi access points, BT pairings, and sms


no its different
restore in recovery is restoring a nandroid backup, which is like a whole system image
restore in TB is just restoring parts of that

My advice, stick with the recommended gapps for the aosp rom you are flashing.

I'm still out n about on mobile. Keep posting here until I inform when v25 is up.

Just to make sure, the file size of the aosp rom is only 200mb? I got all the needed files for flashing already including the gapps and kernel (going for devil).

just wondering, anyone facing hanging issues with your note 2? about a week ago, my phone just started freezing suddenly, when typing a message, or typing a password, or typing on whatsapp..even when i opened the settings menu, the phone just freezes/hangs. happens like 6-10 times a day. wahlao...it was totally perfect till 2 weeks ago. been using note 2 for 8 months already, never rooted & don't have many apps.

Yes all aosp is about 200mb or smaller depending on the amount of mod/apps.
