Little advice for fellow Malaysian who intending to work here, get yourself a Singapore address and number and put them in your resume
It does make a difference for me, but it's only applicable when you are unemployed

Room or whole unit? 1k if for room only can get it decently in Tiong Bahru. Chinatown might have also but apartment in Chinatown is quite old. Redhill is near too

Global management consulting firm, Hay Group, says new graduates can expect to earn a higher starting base salary compared to last year's cohort.

It said they can expect two per cent more in their base salaries.

Hay said the average starting monthly pay for a general degree holder is about 2,700 dollars.

This goes up to almost 2,900 dollars for those with second upper honours.

The survey showed that one in six employers placed an average monthly premium of 185 dollars for local university graduates compared to non local university graduates.

Hay said its latest survey revealed that jobs in Project Management ranked at the top, commanding the highest average starting salary of 2,900 dollars a month for general degree holder, followed by jobs in Engineering and Research & Development.

Does that meant if foreigners, they cant even qualify for EP? Min requirement is $3k.

Anyway, finally ICA approved my PR after 2 months waiting. Another low pay, no skill worker added to PR pools 

im from kl and been working in singapore for 1 year half already. sad to say , i belong to the no skill and low pay group . customer service line in hotel industry.

oh well, trying my best to live happily here.

Just collect my permit at The Riverwalk. Wonder why they want put their service centre there, at the city where so crowded!

Hi guys, anyone had same problem when making eappointment for collection of IC and it prompted that "Please check your ic no and date of issue" but all the info is correct, they just wouldn't let you submit?

I remember you have to wait for 1 working day after you completed your formalities to make this appt.
When did you complete your formalities?
