From my few times experience it will vibrate ..the esc will override the manual brake until the car find it its traction again..correct me if i'm wrong here..it seems dangerous when we do not have control of the brake & all we have to do is take control of the steering..especially in town driving right?

My experience with ESC is when the rear tyres went through a curb, you know Malaysian road. The rear tyres lifted up a second when i was travelling at slightly more than 100 (once straight road, once uphill corner).

What happen is that the engine will brake, rpm dropped, car slow down at a very quick rate. Immediately from 100 to 60. Continue to step on accelerator will not speed up the car until the car decides that you have traction again.

In my experience on the uphill corner, the same thing happened, but when I feel that the car has lost traction, I stepped on the brake. I do feel the brake effect, as I am trying to slow down the car for the car in front.

Hence, my opinion is that the ESC brakes your engine, not your brakes.
