I have been considering for quite some time, over the weekend (2 days, including yesterday 3 days).  tongue.gif  rclxms.gif

I just want a more comfy car. Not a kao kao performance car. If the electronics work better and is the throttle respond improved, it will be easier for me to follow cars in traffic jam.

Prior to this I have noiced that the 'piggy back effect' (not sure if this is the name) on throttle (during car stop start), where you step on throttle, there is a space in the accelerator which does not do anything if you do not step far enough. So this blank space is an annoying variable when you are in traffic jam. You press too light, car not moving as required. You press too hard, car move too fast and you need to brake hard when the car in front of you stops.

Since the 2.0 is a wire driven throttle, it is different from cable driven. Cable driven can just tighten the cable and piggy back effect gone. I have also came across one free mod on Forte Forum where you adjust the throttle to a max position and the effect will be gone. I have check my car, throttle is already at max position.

You might say save money on this and mod other things. I just wanted to try this first, at least the grounding will do good background work for electronics, performance aside. All reviews after installing I will share after I have tested out. Do not want other members to waste money if this is of no use. From V1 to now, no review on this mod.

I hate electricals, hence I do not take up electrical studies when I had the choice. But besides mechanical, electrical efficiency is important to get a higher efficiency modern car. Well, this is just an excuse to rationalise my purchase. Hehe.

Actually 2.0 should be more than enough power to drive around city street

White looked very good on bright day light, shining body with red emblem, black top cover and the dark rims. But to me maintainance is a pain. Must wash every week to avoid black tears.

Titanium silver is a good choice in terms of the upkeeping. Dark colour car in dark also looks fiercer.

PS: Jetta does not look like Forte at all especially with BK on. Jetta is...unker? Changing the rims on Jetta will make it feel like lala car.

Jetta still look ok, only the polo sedan is awful. But spending 140k on Jetta, its not wise at all

It should be include into turbo package. 408T would be cheaper version to have a turbo version
