although the features provided are better than the same segment vehicles, I think its priced quite high with about 17-20% hike from the current Forte... nonetheless, our Forte is really a good buy and I'm lovin it    blush.gif

You're right. They're trying to position themselves since the launch of RIO. Matching Hyundai, since they're of the same parent company. In fact, K3 is using Elantra's base.

Most of the specs are of luxury / premium which I *think*, not needed anyway in our everyday's life.

But, of course, it is handsome. haha

Hi guys,

Wanted to know a few stuffs:

a) Aircond auto mode, is it always preset at taking air from outside instead of internal circulation? Can reset?

b) I saw the guide for Speednavi to papago. Papago better?

c) Why do we need to deactivate the defogging function?

d) What is the purpose of the air-cond insulator? A must?

Lastly, e) Do you think I should install a VS?

Thanks and appreciate all your opinions.

Cheers

a) No. It depends on the temperature difference between outside temperature & your temperature setting. If the AC system detected that the temperature difference is huge enough, the internal air circulation mode will be selected to cool down the cabin faster (to achieve the set temperature). Else, the other way round. At anytime u like, u can set the air circulation mode by pressing its associate button manually. So, as long as u did not press the "AUTO" button after that, that settings should remain.

b) Papago is much better especially in term of wealthy collection of POIs & its navigation interface.

c) To clear the fog on the front/rear windscreen & both side mirrors especially on cold days.

d) Not a must. Else, car manufacturer will insulate it straight from the factory.

e) Up to you to decide. Please do some reading regarding VS. Some say got no effect, some say otherwise.

Thanks izputra and everyone else. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Bro, don't la go self poison. You will end up getting unnecessary stuff and waste money. Drive the car around more. Know what you will want to do to the car, then only you look for source. Self poison is dangerous.

Guys, Forte 1.6 SX 6-speed steering wheel, anyone know the size? Which car's steering wheel cover is compatible with it?

Thought of buying to cover it abit...think its susceptible to scratches.

Haha. No need cover cover. By the time you sell the car, the one who buys your car will use the original steering leather. Then you rugi already. Use it now. Don't waste it. Once the leather wear off, just go to some leather shop and wrap the steering.

Oh, icic. Thanks for the advice..

The new tyre is some very good trade in price. So to all who wants new tyre, better do it immediately than later.
*
You mean, to change now from the new stock trye to better tyres is better than to wait till the stock worn out?
