If I'm a foreigner I would think our present system is not bad. As a foreigner, especially a tourist, I wouldn't know what the locals think. As a foreigner, I wouldn't be well versed in my sense of direction around the Klang valley.

As a local however, most of them think it's bad even though they've probably used the convenience maybe once or twice. As a local, they seem to have a good sense of direction & obviously would question why there's no station here, why the station is there, why it goes through this route, why it doesn't go that route. As a local who went overseas (in effect as a foreigner in that country overseas), they think the metro system in that country is good.

And so the loop continues....

If the public transportation is good, people know. For example when we visit japan HK spore, we can know that their public transport is good even we are not familiar that place, not just metro station their bus services also very good and efficiency, they have well planned interchange station for bus also, I can't really name any well planned bus interchange station in Klang valley

Wah, so many smart alex, giving all sorts of options and views. KNS.

MRT line 2, go here and go there – all very wishful thinking / dreaming .

All CKLPS only. Unless you are Shahril Mokhtar, then I believe .

I also want to clever clever say, Listen carefully ah – from TRX go underground to Bandar Malaysia and come out the south end of BM and follow the existing railway line corridor to Bandar Tun Razak LRT station and then branch off to Alam Damai.

Like that also don’t know . KNS.

Wow,
then bdr tun razak is an interchange.
But will it connect back to cheras sentral, but it looks weird then...
if from bdr tun razak to alam damai it will be a very far rail without station in between oledi.

Existing Sg. Buloh depot will cater for both line 1 and line 2. If really go to Selayang, it will be a spur line and not affecting the main line, so works for main line can still carry on.
*
Until now MRT Corp. haven't touch about the Spur line. Lets wait for public display. (wait until neck long)

Good idea to connect Bandar Malaysia HSR with MRT 2 as you'll only need 3-4 stations to KLCC vicinity.

Bandar Malaysia might get 2 stations.

It takes about 5 years to complete all the studies. And a lot more studies need to be undertaken. The realignment confirmation has just been made recently, although several proposals were on the table. Anyhow, MRT Corp has got a new CEO.

Even myself in crest builder, we work closely with prasarana.

We already got the contract......helping the asset owner preparing tender docs ...we know ..much closer info....than your transport operator pasarana.

Ya nobody knows lar now. MRT Corp needs to make so many parties happy. We are all just speculating and guessing. Let's see how it turns out and revisit in a few months after the announcement.

Most likely Bandar Malaysia gets the MRT2 and hence Pandan / Alam Damai area could be sacrificed.

Yes , when there are plan for changes, most likely will go ahead. Project 1mdb is more prominent and important. Cloudtree value will definitely affected if no station there. Developer price in mrt factor when market cloudtree.

Perhaps MRT avoid overlapping since Panda hv LRT line and Cheras can leverage on SBK MRT line. Alternate solution, CloudTree JMB can provide shuttle service to T.Connaught station or TSB etc.

MRT is not main CT main features. Cant blame the developer when there no MRT right in front door, but nearby to drive n park. All based assumption taking this risk. MRT wont be built to please CT, but possible to catch large population area Alam Damai. Without CT , there plenty other can choose with MRT.

if not mistaken, Binastra Green Residence and WOTP did provide shuttle service to nearest MRT station.

Not all developer can suggest to do such SERVICE.

ZALAM focus on construction; they hardly provide customer orinted needs.

Can give good point to SDB which think of such idea for their project.
