Had a go at the trains today armed with a TNG card.

Sentul-Bank Negara-Bandaraya-Masjid Jamek-KL Sentral-Bkt Bintang-KL Sentral-Sentul covering all KTM, LRT 1 & 2 & monorail.

Overall not bad but we can't change the weather here & most of the stations are either ground level & elevated. The hot humid weather contributes a little to the unpleasantness.

Can't wait for MRT1 & 2 to be completed. rclxms.gif

My guess still passby alam damai, but cheras sentral will skip.

Bandar Malaysia > Sungai Besi (Midfield) > TBS > Alam Damai

If they skip Cheras Sentral, will lose an important southern interchange with MRT1

Why many MRT stations build at the new development area not the existing high population area? If you are foreigner, how you rated our existing public transportation in Klang Valley?

If I'm a foreigner I would think our present system is not bad. As a foreigner, especially a tourist, I wouldn't know what the locals think. As a foreigner, I wouldn't be well versed in my sense of direction around the Klang valley.

As a local however, most of them think it's bad even though they've probably used the convenience maybe once or twice. As a local, they seem to have a good sense of direction & obviously would question why there's no station here, why the station is there, why it goes through this route, why it doesn't go that route. As a local who went overseas (in effect as a foreigner in that country overseas), they think the metro system in that country is good.

And so the loop continues....

If the public transportation is good, people know. For example when we visit japan HK spore, we can know that their public transport is good even we are not familiar that place, not just metro station their bus services also very good and efficiency, they have well planned interchange station for bus also, I can't really name any well planned bus interchange station in Klang valley
