Where do you guys think this Bukit Jalil East is? TPM near astro? I really hope there is an interchange with Bukit Jalil Station or at least a covered walkway linking the 2.

To me it makes no sense to build the MRT so far east in Bukit Jalil. There is nothing much there just TPM. It makes far more sense to interchange with the Bukit Jalil Stadium LRT. Stadium goers during football matches etc need to get to the stadium somehow so the Mrt makes sense. Also, Bukit Jalil Station already has lots of parking space for the Lrt. People park at the Stadium and take the LRT everyday. By interchanging with Bukit Jalil LRT there is already an existing park and ride.

If they upgrade the Stadium Parking into multilevel it will be 3 birds with one stone, park and ride for Lrt+ MRT and increasing capacity for Stadium parking which we all know is insufficient Since during football matches, people park all the way down to Kesas highway.

If only our G*V can think of this then Malaysia will not be in current state

Hahaha hope government smarter this time lar. The way I see it got 2 possible routes. The stops are confirmed up to Chan Sow Lin and Bandar Malaysia. When they go south between Bandar Malaysia and Serdang alot of question marks. To lower land acquisition costs, it's more effective to follow current highways. I think it will either follow Sungai Besi highway or Mex highway. If following Sungai Besi highway, it will clip Bukit Jalil right at the eastern edge of TPM. However this makes it really far from the stadium & all the malls which defeats the purpose.

If following Mex highway, it can interchange with Bukit Jalil stadium LRT then maybe go down to Bukit Jalil highway then turn east towards Serdang. This makes much more sense IMO. We will see what Gov does lar, will find out in Q2. Bukit Jalil stadium land ie DBKL's so it's easier to handle as well. It's the perfect place to put a multilevel park and ride to serve the Stadium, LRT and MRT. I cannot think of a better place to put it.

Ya nobody knows lar now. MRT Corp needs to make so many parties happy. We are all just speculating and guessing. Let's see how it turns out and revisit in a few months after the announcement.

Serdang already confirmed. After Bukit Jalil most likely will go to Serdang interchange with Ktm then to Putrajaya.

I agree with Pat Kor, most likely path will follow Sungai Besi highway from Bandar Malaysia down to eastern part of BJ near Astro and then down to Serdang.

That wish list still possible but very unlikely the Mrt comes from Cheras side to Serdang. Most likely will come from Bandar Malaysia to Bukit Jalil to Serdang.

Very good news for KL south!!! Abit disappointed they did not interchange at Bukit Jalil Stadium instead of Sungai Besi but that's ok, still good for the area. Fantastic! Sri Petaling will be a serious hub like Uptown or Ss15!!!

What I'm curious about now is exactly where the stations will be in Kuchai and Sri Petaling. Also from Sg Besi Lrt to Serdang KTM, will there be another stop along the way in Bukit Jalil East?

Anyway this alignment makes much more sense lar big u turn not very sensible. Cheras and Pandan people have to wait for MRT3 which we don't know when will finish.

It can jadi if they split up the land and sell it to developers piece by piece. Government bail out Bandar Malaysia and Dev can return favours to govt for "special prices" on the land. I'm betting all the negotiations are going on behind the scenes lar confirm.

MRT2 realignment not only bring Station 24 to Taman Naga Emas, but a great road traffic improvement to the surrounding area.
*
Very good news. Sri Petaling is extremely ong now but the traffic is just terrible. On a Saturday even the multi level carpark full house. Can't imagine when all the new shops are occupied.

Anyone have news about what's happening in Naga Emas? It's INP land right?

The land around the golf driving range at Sri petaling is belong to I&P I believe. And I remember I saw the masterplan from I&P for Sri petaling that area will be shop + residential.
*
Ya I saw it too. Now the land value is x10 d. Do you think they will change the plan? Ie up the density, maybe change from standard 3-4 storey shoplot to office block or 6-8 storey shop office? Residential also do 20-30 storey sayang if can do 40-50 storey instead. I&P big big winners but they are not famous for their luxury devs. Mostly mid end.
