Tender for HSR will begin in June.

MRT2 Revised finalised. Approved by SPAD. In the process of submission and then subsequently Cabinet approval in coming months.

Most experts believe going to Bandar Malaysia is the best idea as if not, then people in future who come by HSR will be stuck as they cannot transfer immediately to TRX and further north KLCC. Interchanging at TRX with MRT1 will bring you to KL Sentral.

Think the big picture. Think the rationale commutation.

pity alam damai prima buyers n also ppl living in alam damai.. true place tht needs a train foregone fr a massively corrupt crony company tht needs the hsr n mrt to justify the prices..

Alam damai shld get another line or something..

HSR would be much btr off going to KL sentral whr connectivity is far btr than bandar malaysia with only 1 mrt line.. brows.gif

totally agree, just look at taiwan hsr that arrives at taipei main station for example.

boss, i think the problem is KL sentral gt no more space fr more trains d.. I still think they shld reli look at how they cn bring the hsr to kl sentral la.. i would reli look down on the HSR if it goes to Bandar msia jus to increase 1mbds valuation.

in modern day tech there is no such thing as no more space doh.gif just look at bukit bintang mrt station, or since hsr is not built by us anyway, beijing/tokyo metro systems. mrt stesen bertingkat lol

The Edge reported that the new alignment passes Chan Sow Lin area, then going to Bandar Malaysia... I guess most of the changes is in the middle part of the alignment only.

yeap since they are planning to renovate kl sentral, they shld try to add in 1 more train brows.gif brows.gif im quite sure kl sentral cn link the HSR to ALL the important office/commercial hubs including KLCC, midvalley, trx, warisan merdeka while stopping at bandar msia cn only link trx, bdr msia n klcc... (with change of 1 train).

You got point. Link between HSR and mrt 2 TRX kl centre. Only 1 more stop to city. Ini macam very better option than mrt 3 circle line. Also Mrt3 mostly stop at kl city "outskirts".

Imo, the change of alignment for mrt2, and even the location of HSR is purely to cover up for 1mdb, which is in so much shit I don't even want to look. They sacrifice all the pandan and alam damai area for a empty piece of land that they probably bought at some ridiculously inflated price and nobody stays in, hopefully that the connectivity justifies their buying price and shield them from the publics wrath.

Pandan will be covered by MRT3 since MRT3 is a circle line that is going through Ampang downwards.

This makes sense for MRT2, as it should not cover the same catchment area as MRT3.

It also makes sense if MRT2 would cover Chan Sow Lin area all the way to Seri Kembangan and Fringe of Bukit Jalil, hopefully.

what is the fastest and surest way to increase land value. with 1mdb in deep shit now, u bet where mrt 2 will stop at...
c how fast and realignment and approval... hehe...

next up will be selling some land at "new price" to pare down the debt... that's after MRT2 alignment confirmation..

and all ppl still wonder why land price so high...

Yeap i wana see how the public reacts to the HSR n rerouting of d MRT...

I think bandar malaysia land cn sell fr 4kpsf la if gt HSR n MRT2..

I know the last thing will be forcing msian mncs to relocate there.. on a side note, the cayman money is still on its way back..

To all the ppl protecting the importance of the hsr n mrt2 in bandar malaysia, TDMahathir would nt hv said wht he said n subsequently the blogpost removed if it was pure lies tongue.gif tongue.gif the truth hurts.

judging by mrt 1, we can see gamuda-mmc takes about 5-6 years for construction of a line. judging by trx, how fast do you think 1mdb can construct Bandar Malaysia? considering bandarmalaysia is probably going to be some mega development maybe even larger than trx? assuming the hsr is built by foreign experts and also takes 5-6 years...we are going to see the hsr stopping at a very slow moving construction site to interchange with an mrt station for construction workers.hardly the image one would like to give foreign guests right? even if bandar malaysia is going to be JV with other companies, 5-6 years is very very ambitious.

Serdang already confirmed. After Bukit Jalil most likely will go to Serdang interchange with Ktm then to Putrajaya.

I agree with Pat Kor, most likely path will follow Sungai Besi highway from Bandar Malaysia down to eastern part of BJ near Astro and then down to Serdang.
