Again, you  do not understand my statement. Everything is working fine for me, so that is exactly what I said. All those things you mentioned above could be happening to you and everyone else, but not to me. Next time, please read properly before making childish remarks that reflect on your level of intellect.

who is being childish here.

I cannot understand your statement,
so?
you cannot accept a slightest tinge that it is your statement's prob?

go sulk in a corner if it makes you better.

lol.. someone statement make my day.. oh man, he is making fun of himself... dude, if you are not happy, do your work and make a complaint/annoy maxis staff, cfm or skmm instead annoy other user who has no problem with their maxis service. sure you can complaint here, but there is no rule said that other user can't be happy with maxis. yeah, maxis has its down, but sure other provider has it, not all service is perfect. it is your right to complaint, changed the service provider. but please restrained yourself for making joke of yourself..

Dude, you kinda insulted him first. And it wasn't constructive, you didn't share the details of your problem, but you went and put him down instead for no real reason. If you feel offended just because some one shared his good experience when you're having problem with the line, it's no reason to attack him. Instead feel free to share details of your problem, (location, package, what's the issue) and what steps you took and what did maxis responded. Even if it's bad experience, some users might benefit from it (e.g. might help some forumers not to switch to maxis if they are in the same area as yours, or same use case)

For me, more than 2 years and it has been pretty smooth sail, i only remember 1 day downtime out of >700 days. Mostly downloading (http, p2p) and browsing. Not gaming though, which i understand from others has high latency issues. Family of 4, and no complaints from my family member as well. I'm OK to continue to use Maxis until the day they start to cause me problem.... When that happens and they don't solve it promptly and professionally, i'll just drop them and move on

Take a chill pill dude, not need to call people names, as others have pointed out, not happy, just call up maxis, pester them, which I did when I got problem. The latest problem with routing has been fixed now, tho I won't recommend others to take Maxis package, I don't simply whack people who gave good review on maxish ftth.

I will not continue this unproductive banter with individuals who have problems comprehending play school English. As this is a maxis user forum, I shall and will continue to post anything I feel like posting.

And to all the other dudes who spoke up for me, thanks. I rest my case. It's late and I want to sleep. God bless everyone.

Hey guys, just got my new Maxis Fibre 10mbps plan here, (and before you say anything about making a big mistake, its because I have no other ISP at my area besides streamyx at 1mbps, since unifi rejected my application due to 'full port')

So far download speed is okay (1st day only I know), I get mt 1.2mbps download speed, no Dc or anything.

But torrent speed is throttled (as expected) at 10-50kbps. Anyone knows how to enable P2P on Maxis Fibre?

Searched the forums and couldn't find a way to speed up torrenting, although some users have reported stable torrenting speed, so I reckon it may hold true for everybody (being optimistic here...)

No, you need to request for public ip. By default, its private ip and port forwarding dont works which explained the slow speed. So far only Xunlei works without public ip.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for the info =D
I'll try xun lei first, if that doesn't work I'll see how i'll be able to obtain a public ip =)

Hmm, Xun lei works a lot better than tixati or utorrent, I'll give it that XD
Although there are some pretty sudden speed fluctuations, like from 800kbps suddenly drop to 12kbps for a few mins... then resume back to full speed again...
and if total torrent speed is over 1MBps, the speed will faaaallllll...... until I pause one torrent...

There is only one problem with Xunlei. It uses port 80. No doubt its easily the fastest client but it also render other users unable to use the internet by hogging the bandwidth.
