ok done talking with their L2 and they said that yes we capped between 8PM to 2AM for P2P, Games, torrenting and few more that i dont know... so whats the capped speed? We capped at 500kbps... oh 500kbps but i am only getting 50kbps every night.. how can you explain this?

so yes MAXSHIT capped us to 50kBps between 8PM to 2AM... so live with it man... cant do much! and when they say 500kbps.. is a small letter b stand for bit and not bytes.. got a really good technical lesson from the L2... for those of you who thinking 1mBps download speed then do it before 8PM or after 2AM la... so basically this MAXsHIT is useless and please dont sign up.. i am going to pay RM500 to cut it off!

What is the current termination policy for Maxis Home Fibre ?
- RM500 or remaining months in contract

Maxis dota 2 ping is around 23 to as high as 49ms
Unifi from 7 to highest also 19ms

dota server 120ms ping. zzz

after 24 months contract I sure will switch to UNIFI if they still haven't fix it.

actually maxis can monopolized the market if they could just pay attention to what the consumer wants
1. low ping
2. no capped for torrenting
3. no caped for streaming
4. no capped for P2P file sharing
5. dont block site unnecessarily

hi guys, need some advice.

currently using unifi 5mb line. no lag watsoever while gaming n torrenting at 500-700kbs living in damansara jaya. recently got a call fr maxis offering 10mb for rm148. should i change it to maxis since i get double the spd  for almost the same price? or should i get the maxis 10mb + astro beyond at rm278? my main concern is if maxis is stable n faster than unifi?

my speedtest.net ping to maxis server is 24ms

bro, try request for early contract termination penalty waive from maxis due to the lag issue. i believe they will give it to u since u are suffering in game lag issue.

last time i request this penalty waive from maxis because of the high latency issue and poor routing to the international, and they give it. u can terminate your maxis ftth for free after u get this waive. tq
