what i suggest will be UWW + UQW as weekly maintenance, gold class + Ultimate liquid wax as monthly maintenance.

Why would a wash wax maintain need weekly while gold class monthly?

Might to explain more on it?

Anyone has any good recommendation for a good car wash and polish around Damansara Heights/Bangsar/Hartamas or PJ area?

My budget is around RM200-300 for a full polish. Not sure if that is possible.

Anyone?

if we wanna polish/wax, we will need to clay off the wax layer on the paint so no point to use UWW. normal car shampoo will do. for weekly maintenance, we need protection so UWW + UQW/ULW will do. that is my personal opinion. i dont think the UWW contain much wax in it so if you dont mind you can still use it. biggrin.gif

Those are 'orange peels'.

Denim/velvet pads // heavy compound // rotary -> compound & polish

or

SANDPAPER -> compound & polish

This is done over 2 days, one car at a time using a rotator with 5-6' country lake wool for polishing with ORSEN Crystal Cut 3.0. Then its finish with Mothers wax from Ace Hardware using old sponge and good old hand job.

What do ya think for 1st timer?

Thanks man. The ride belongs to a friend and it has never been polished before.

Seriously, it's looking real good there. What sandpaper grit that you used to sand the surface?

Looks good. Did you refine with milder polish after crystal cut 3.0? Btw, it will be better to use a proper foam applicator pad to apply wax. I think Ace hardware should carry some of those haha.

Those were pics from years back, just want to show the difference after leveling the orange peel...not 100% though, but good enough. I used the 1500 grit then 2500 grit sandpaper by hand, but the compounding/polishing with a rotary.

Nowadays lazy already and using these:

That foam applicator came with Mothers. I did not refine further with Perfect Cut 2.0, too tired (lazy) ohmy.gif . Main objective was to get rid of the swirl and water mark in particular on the car top and bonnet. Let see how long it last though i mostly parked it under shade or in basement.. hmm.gif
