i do think the one i brought is fake 1

previously using PG clay bar

no experience with clay bar so i think did a good job for me to remove those stain
sometimes do feel abit too gentle the permaglass offer

recently brought a 3M claybar from LYN forumer
it do remove stain quicker than PG
however the 3M did leave some swirl mark after i clay
so i wonder y the clay bar so aggressive
luckily the swirl mark removeable by using Meguair ultimate compound

Then if compound removed the clear coat, the polishing and wax cant help to protect the surface?

Just now I try the scratch with my fingernail, can feel a little of deep but not that deep actually, but I would like to try it first hehe

If you aren't sure of how to polish a deep scratch like I am, you clean out the scratch and fill with clear nail polish (the name is contradictory, somewhat) and let it cure. This will keep moisture and dirt out of the scratch for several weeks, months even until you have time to rectify the problem. To remove the polish, just use a little bit of nail polish remover.

Usually when you can feel the scratch, no matter how little, it is very very difficult to safely remove them, even with a machine. You best bet is to try and minimize the appearance of the scratch and then move on.

Protection offered by the clear coat is far far more superior in every way (and thick) than any wax/sealant/coating available.

There is no harm (and not to mention fun also....errr...at least to me la) in trying, as long as you know what you're doing and understand the risks involved.

i just get the Compound and Polishing Meguiars ultimate's line , i already read the way how to do it properly in the Meguiars Official Forum , they say keep on apply compound with a little of force , after this wipe it off , repeating until the scratch look better , at least it can improve the scratch.

Anyway , what scratch that can't feel with our fingernail ?

I've been using RainX for ages. Never had that kind of issues on both rubber or silicone wiper blades.

a bit of doubts here.. am driving an old gen Vios.. cleans my engine bay from time to time.. i like to see my engine clean..
but my concern is, can we juz spam engine degreaser throughout the whole engine bay,let it do the job and then rinse off? will the engine degreaser 'degrease' some important grease/oil/lubricant in the engine?

I do not cover my batt and alternator..juz lightly rinse off everytime..so far so good.. or am i doing it wrongly. thanks.

Not sure if this is the place to ask. But anyone knows of any good car wash around Bangsar?? Saw one at the Tom's motorshop but have no idea how much it costs. Prefer something like Meguiar's or along the likes.

Anyone been using this product? How good are they compared to Optimum No Rinse? At 1/3 the price of ONR, it's quite tempting altho it says required 4oz per 2 gallons or water compared to ONR's 1oz per 2 gallons of water. Probably too concentrated. Think for a normal car without much dirt 2-3oz should be good.

This should be the first mass-marketed rinse free wash available locally off the shelf in hypermarkets.

Suggest you to look closely before buying, demo if possible.

Because we don't think by just having a nozzle, you can get such pressurized water lor...

Anyway, why can't you have water and electricity at the same time?

Or maybe this would be better : http://static.ph.groupon-content.net/81/88/1349079098881.jpg
