Auto detailing, is the performance of an extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of an automobile, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail. Besides improving appearance, detailing helps to preserve resale value of a car.

PG nope.

at least go for soft99 if you want to be cheap. those work, albeit too mild to do any serious decontamination. The bright side is that it's almost impossible to screw up with mild clays unless you dropped them and re-use or they are already too dirty to be used.

I first bought my stick of PG Clay even before I got my car... I've not used any other brands but it does do as advertised.

Just be careful ya guys:
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/show...ad.php?t=227874

Not saying that it's fake or not but....just be careful.

In the mean time, if anybody got one of these, would you mind sending a pinch/small sample of it to me. I have the original 3M one (complete with the plastic container) and would love to compare the two. If it's really similar and from OEM manufacturer I personally wouldn't mind getting a few for myself as well.....hehehe.....

I went to the Tesco you went. They only have #1 for dark color cars, I think very mild only.

Tesco I went? Not sure which branch, but I noticed they usually put all into the same row, #1 and #2 available, sometimes the #2 is placed at the back, need to find one by one.

Im using the meguairs black wax, so far so good, based on my understanding white wax clean ur paint better, it will make ur white car whiter
Love the smell, and even it is paste wax not a liquid wax, but its easy to apply on ur car

How do you all remove wax from grooves?

After I have waxed the roof of my car I notice there is dried wax inside the groove lines on the roof.
