can consider to include stiff ring another of your handling mods..definitely will make ur steering response sharper..

QUOTE(rompers @ Mar 15 2013, 04:41 AM)
Forumers pls correct me if I'm wrong:

In actual fact, front and rear strut bars should be the final addition in terms of vehicle rigidity mod-ups.

For improvements in terms of handling and vehicle body flex, it is the lower ARBs and Fender/Side Torsion bars which plays a more prominent role.

In any case, the driver may not feel the immediate effects/benefits of such mods unless he/she takes the car out for 'speed-runs' on winding roads (e.g. Ulu Yam; Karak Hghwy; etc.) brows.gif

And somore see the gap of the car body n the tyre a very big gap. Means the gap of the suspension there.

Hi All, this is the response from our trusty AZ Master SA, Mr. Loh Kah Sing.

Apparently all SAs LYN Accounts are banned (probably due to sales pitch posts on our car-talk thread, sigh..).

In any case, I thank him for taking the time and effort to Whatsapp me with his response to my query.

Below is his answer (copy & pasted from my Whatsapp):
===================================
On the 5 years warranty, Naza Kia Will send the warranty letter to the owners directly. If the owners don t get it after two months, they should call customer service at 26177666

Naza send thru normal post, sometimes it gets lost in the mail. If warranty claim falls within first two years, the letter is not required. Letter is only required after third year onwards. Do share this info with others in LYN

Another question guys.

I have not got my Forte yet, but I have been observing the car of my friends' for quite a bit. I observed that the car is bisu. ie, it does not have chime or sound to let you know whether the car is locked or unlocked after you have pressed the button on your key or on the handle. Is there any setting that I can do to get the 'chime'?

I am used to plotong's beep beep when I unlock my door and beep when I lock my door.

The car will come tomorrow. Very eager to see the car.

Hi,

I posted regarding th 2+3 yrs extended warranty.

In the end when i check with HQ, It's actually 5 yrs extended warranty with unlimited mileage.

I manage in the end to repair the pump with zero cost.

HQ careline really did great job, and they r very helpful!! I salute them.

My call operator Fara did a good job, she even call up SC to help clarified everything. After she call every thing is speed up!

U may think haha... he is satisfied now... unfortunately.....

My car was scratched at driver side door. The scratch is 1 feet long and dented my door as well.....walau eh.... i m depress.....

Anyway, currently SC guy help me to repair and i am still waiting for my car....

Total lost of use of car.... 4 days.....until now...

PS: if ur warranty is 2+3 yrs...what i had complaint is still valid... with the RM200 access fee.....

My 'stable' meant was more towards handling. The 1.3 tonne weight it is just sufficient enough to go around.

And yes, I do agree on the braking system. I tend to change to better ones (Brembo/Endless) to give a better bite on braking. I felt braking at high speeds at times are slippery.
*
Wah! You invested in Brembos/Endless for your Forte?
May I ask how much did it cost you and where did you find them?

Hi Nobita,

It's great info which you have shared.
I really appreciate the time & effort.

Could you kindly add:

1) The HQ number which you called through to speak with the NAZA Customer Service agents.
2) The total cost incurred (all inclusive, if any) for the Water Pump replacement.
3) The 1ft long scratch+dent. Was it due to SC Driver's negligence or was it because they park outside their premises with no security?

Many thanks in advance for answering the questions above.

Unfortunately, you don't get the 'chime' sound. The only sound you will hear is the door locks/unlocks. The only way is to install after market 'chime'.
